Cant wait to see full video. I got the delta 2 max and the 400 w solar panel. Not enough sun in Scotland to charge it tho 😂. Want to get an other solar panel and extra battery but that will need to stay on my wish list for now.
Yeah I can relate lol . What you CAN do, is over panel. So parallel up and don't go over max input voltage, dotn worry about the amps it will throttle that itself
@@user-di3ip4tq5d given the price difference between the folding and the rigid , I personally will only ever go that way, putting them on the roof if it's south facing would be a good call, assuming it's being used to just charge the unit and not for export we won't go into g98/ 99 notices etc
@@user-di3ip4tq5d just thought I should clarify the answer a bit . If your looking at solar and battery system for export and saving money etc powrbanks is the most expensive way to attempt it . You would be entirely better going with a full solar is tall and rack batteries, for example for the price of a delta pro you could get pretty much get a 15kw fogtech battery ,obviously you would still need a hybrid inverter and install etc . I have powerbanks as its a a back up to the fixed solar and battery system, then the generator and then powerbanks. But they are also portable and can take them in the van with me etc so they have a place, my long winded ramble is basically to consider what you want them for. Cheers Sp
Looking forward to this one. I got a Bluetti AC180P, which is the same sort of size. But it has an issue where if the solar input drops below 10W (as on a dull day), it starts to discharge 😞 So it is now a case of disconnecting the input on the less sunny days - very annoying. It seems to be a common fault with the model
I had wanted to try some of the anker kit, but was restricted to being able to purchase from currys and they are out of stock and showing no signs of restocking anker. So delta 2 was my second choice...I REALLY wanted the delta pro..but it was too much of a stretch atm
@@Scottishprepper73 Ecoflow do some good kit (if you have the money 🙂) - have you seen their 3 in 1 van charger / adaptor ? Not seen a price, but bet it will be expensive 😞 Be ideal for your van
@@Scottishprepper73 Does the victron work in reverse to charge the van from the Delta ? £800 that is expensive, but I guess that they will come down eventually 🙂
@@Lee_Proffit no mate it doesn't but if that was required some of the ctek and renogy ones do it. Or lol buy a boost starter for 75 quid ,200 quid for the victron and still saved 525 quid
