Thanks for this, after seeing this I did 4 things. 1 fill up water containers, 2 put washing out, 3 go and get money out of atm, and 4 get more shopping in. Thanks a few months ago I wouldn't have known to do this.
It does show just how fragile the digital infrastructure is, one problem at one company and the world collapses, Kind of makes a mockery of the "improved service" that the new digital telephone service (in the UK) promised 😞 Went down to my local ATM at it is empty, guess that people are taking your advice 🙂
Net went down here in france sometime a4ound 10 pm last night. I told the missus, "Probab,y tree has fallen on the line up the road, eithr that or it is worldwide "She replied, " You and your doomsday shite". Awoke this morning andsheexited to go shopping. Came back andsaid thatthe supermarket was only accepting cash or cheques". Global outtage or something. I laughed my nuts off.
So I'm up and running as I am on Mac, I use a live air traffic site to track aircraft overhead, just been on the site and there is probably double maybe even treble the planes in the sky than normal, maybe this means they can't land planes? It might be they've landed but they can't update their transponder.
@@Scottishprepper73 Regional airports seem to be landing like Bristol & Exeter (my two closest) Heathrow seem to be packing & stacking planes though. Looks as though if there was an issue they've sorted it, which I can't confirm as it just looked like there were more planes in the sky than normal.
@@Scottishprepper73 Sky news saying they revert to a paper based system for controlling the landing of planes when sysems go down so assume they've implemented this.
This wasn't an error that caused this, it's their practice run for what's coming. Powercuts to follow too, etc., the "Great Reset" has started, lads, but you still don't seem to be aware of this.
My partner delivers pharmaceuticals to doctors, chemists and hospitals and their systems are down to. He has been able to do his run this morning but if it continues they won’t be doing afternoon runs as the ordering system is down.

I had some issues with my delivery apps yesterday for several hours and all my families phones froze, had to restart. PC fires up ok today so far. Cheers for the update.

Luckily we have the stable leadership of Sir Keir Starmer, however the recent developments in America has left me a bit worried. Hopefully the democrats can come back.
If you're still at the stage in your life where you believe that these political parties are separate entities competing with each other to rule the country their way then I genuinely feel very sorry for you. My best advice to you would be to throw your television set in the trash where it belongs.

It's not yet time for Trump panic. The odd of Biden dropping out seem better than even. There is intense pressure on him, bordering on elder abuse - which is justified. If the Dems nominate anyone under 60, I think you will see Trump lose by a lot. We will see what happens.
It's shamefully to have Biden in post, the poor guy has done his bit but age catches up with us all. Unless a change is made, the pic of trump with the blood and arm up, will probably see him over the line. It's all up in the air.
Just going to keep on plodding, I have run out of room to do anything major, so have shifted my target to stocking up on Mylared goods now rather than the tins which seem to have overtaken my place. Also decided that I really should give beans and rice a try - as never had them - before I Mylar any up 🙂
I'm in similar situation, my next big project is to build a workshop in the garden next year as I need the room. There is too much weight in the roof atm and have had to relocate shite.

Business as usual in terms of physical day to day preps, I'm squared away in terms of kit, just adding a few extra tins with my weekly shop each week & adding the odd consumable like more replacement water filter candles etc. Looking long term at a house move where I can go even more rural than I am with a bit of acreage where I can go off grid & be more self sufficient. My focus is more long term as the biggest threat on the horizon I see is financial prepping what with our new (UK) government & the recent Trump incident as I think there is more to come with that & I do not believe the powers that be will let him become president & the world wide turmoil that will come from this.
Honestly my partner seems to be taking things a lot more seriously all of a sudden and being a lot more supportive in what I’ve been doing. He seems very focused on certain things I truly haven’t been. I’ve always been much more a prep for the unexpected life thing. Apparently he sees the need to look further forward and in all honesty I’m not really against that.
We're not near Europe but I have heard it said that the focus would go from that area to other regions, including ours, if a different old person gets elected. No changes here but I may decide to get way more serious if things look like changing in any real way. I'm just slowly improving our growing abilities and rotating/replacing some older stock as time goes by. Sadly I suspect that anything could happen given all the factors involved in all of this.

I wish we could use our loft but it get 15C hotter up there than indoors and that gets 10C hotter indoors than outdoors. Totally bonkers but great in winter lol 😂
That's the problem, heat rises on the inside and hits it from the outside as well. I run multiple big fans, room is insulated and have fitted 25mm celotex in the window and vents open. It stays at a reasonable temperature. Plus I live in Scotland and we get 2 days of sun a year...I believe it's a monday/Tuesday this year.
I never really comment on self defence/ home defence buddy for a variety of reasons, what I would say is I plan for most potential contingencies but given how it could be miss interpreted by officials while discussing a hypothetically scenario I try to steer well clear of that subject If that makes sense?
0:25 - If this is already the law and they can't legally be sold to under 18's (both very good IMHO), then there is little manoeuvrability and I would suspect the ban. The police can't do their own job at the moment, without adding checking and issuing crossbow and bow licences to their remit. Guns are licensed and banned from being carried in public, but there is a gun attack reported virtually every week but very few convictions for those crimes - so that obviously don't work 😞

It's a shame, not only for law abiding people who want to own crossbows but also sports people in the crossbow and archery arena. As their organisations have said, if some crazy person went around hurting or killing people with a garden spade, are they going to ban spades? As you say, it's a knee jerk reaction but one that will never be reversed. Typical.
I was wondering when someone was going to mention this,as its been all over the news feeds on RU-vid,xbows are just a bit of fun for target practice,but banning them is not the solution or is it ?, only time will tell,i think there's more important things going on that need to be addressed in the uk .
I shot target compound bows for some years and in my earlier fitter years I shot a recurve target setup. Fact is that your average numpty with bad intentions won't be able to pick up a compound, recurve or longbow and be able to shoot it with any sort of proficiency unless they practice and build up things like muscle memory etc. A crossbow is different, imo, as the energy is stored and it's basically a point and shoot deal even if they're less way less capable unless you spend a lot of money and time sorting them out. Most people can pick up a crossbow and likely hit something, albeit at short range, whereas I doubt that many people could even draw my bow and shoot it much less hit anything. Also most crossbow producers seem to want to appeal to the Rambo element with the way that they're presented in camo or with various sights etc. I was doing some work around my late mothers home to get it ready for sale a few years ago and I found a cheap fibreglass arrow on the ground next to the house. Some fool had shot it in suburbia and that is where it ended up. The laws will be enacted to cover the fools in society as usual. I don't need to be told to not speed, drink or text whilst driving but some do. Nothing new here.
with everything that's been going on it was due to happen they look for ANY reason to take any/all ways for someone to protect themselves away and in NO WAY am i condoning violence of ANY form but where does all this stop, when there is more protection for the ones that commit violence have more protection than the victim?
Like it or not, same as fire arms in the UK its not a valid reason to own for self defence in the UK, sporting only but not sure if your US based in which its probably different but sporting only in UK and banned for hunting in UK as well.
