Bro this project was going to be on mysql + power bi project than why you shifted to excel only and if possible make a vedio on data cleaning like if we got messy data than how convert that data into clean data it will be helpful if you can make a vedio btw this vedio is so informative

I watched your two videos of the project, in both videos you had cleaned data. Do you have any power BI project in which you had cleaned data in the power query?

Thank you so much, excellent video, very well explained usage of Measures and DAX also covered, good data for analyse. I think just you needed to Filtered also Model data column from Excel there is some data that in Power BI came out as date and text column and when showing results in video explanation in Data Cleaning part 22:22. In Excel file Saab company models came out as Date functions i think it should be named Saab 9-3 and Saab 9-5 like a manufacturer models names not as a date format in Excel cells. This data need to be transformed in Power Bi changing data format of the cell to TEXT and after that just like a replacement of Engine column in the video also replacement of Saap company Models need to be replaced in Model column. Everything else is excellent thank you again good work, nice video :)

Hello, For the total MTD sales at the last, Should we definitely use that concatenate formula, I think we can also use: Create a new card and import the total MTD measure there and in the visual section, we can change the values in the callout values from auto to Millions and change the decimal point value from auto to 1, We can also change the values to $ in the measure tools section. I think this yields the same result. Or is there any particular reason for using the concat formula?

Why You use Rule for coloring the sales difference? You have written a measure and mention the color name. You should have used Field Value and Mentioned Measure Name

Hi.... I am following along but i have a question. YOY growth on total sales = total sales -last year sales right? but why did u do, YTD sales-last year sales??? am lost there

No you can check it on google as well for formula. Though i have made a different mistake where we should divide by pytd . You can correct those.

@@datatutorials1 u divided by pytd only. its not a mistake. i am just confused, like yoy growth sometimes take total sales but here u have taken ytd sales i cant understand that. Because in the Requirement, you asked YOY growth not YTD growth. but in the video its ytd growth u performed.
