Absolutely beautiful and impressive. One question though - what is the added value of the empty shapes (frames) at the beginning? The visual goes on a shape, and the shape goes on the canvass. Why not to place the visual directly on the canvass and just not use the shapes? Thanks!
I'm a power bi newbie so please forgive me if this is too dumb of a question: when I drag the visual to fit within a shape, why the visual looks like it's sent to the back and greyed out? I only didn't understood was Isblank. Like why did we used it here. We can directly calculate the data by using On service= Calculate([Total Emp], 'HR Analytics Data' [Retreanchment status] = "On service") . Guys anyone who understood can reply please
one quick question, how you could see services and will be retrenched column at all measures table. after adding conditional formatting how come they are visible at all measures?

Priyanka, in technology there's no age limit, as soon as you up to the task. What the world needs is your knowledge not to your age. In technology if a 50 year old person can do better he will definitely eclipse the younger ones when it comes to job offer. Never stop learning.

Thanks for the video. I am a beginner. I was following along to replicate the project but I got stuck at 33:05 mins. I copied the "total emp" card, pasted it, but could not put in the "male" measure. The error message is "calculation error in measure, [Male]: DAX comparison operations do not support comparing values of type integer with values of type text. consider using the value or format function to convert one of the values"

This is a superb dashboard with great insight. But please I'm getting it difficult whenever I try to place a card on an object. It disappears unless I click the background of the page. Any solution to that?

There is a mistake in calculating retrenchment status.We have to calculate on active employees only.But you are calculating on total employees which may include Ex employees also.. But the video is amazing..Thank you very much.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Whenever i click on Level 1 Job level so it shows there is 3 people who are due promotion but when i scroll down the service year bar graph that shows many people in tool tip for "due for promotion" Although it should show only for just 3 people but it did'nt

@Data with Decision You adviced that we delete columns which are nolonger useful. However, i noticed you didn't do so and still reused one of those you asked us to delete (YearsAtcompany). When I decided to go back to APPLIED STEPS to reuse the deleted column, i received a warning from the system saying it could result in a distorted model. However, the model didn't break. I guess its because the model in this case wasn't complex. So how can we overcome such a challenge and reuse a deleted column without running the risk of breaking the data model?
In all of my work in the office and my clients works I always get rid of the columns i had alread conditioned into any other column. Reason is becouse i want to keep my file size small not large, else it will slow down your report specifically if you not having very speedy computer. If you see me not truncating most of those columns in the tutorial is becouse i want to beat time and make the video shorter as soon as posible. You know I can't do everything 100% while recording else the video will be boring. That is why I always get things done behind the scenes. My responsibility is to tell you what the ethic is and show some sample in just some few stemps.
I tried to recreate this dashboard I don’t know why my measure for due for promotion is showing blank when I tried to visualize it but not due works perfectly
Ran into a problem... as I created the measure fields and I tried to check them to get the visuals. I am not given the choice to check them. I try right-clicking the measure and selecting check but it won't let me check it.
