Starz has officially announced that Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 will be the show's final season. Part 1 of the season will air on June 7th while Part 2 will start on September 6th.

I think cane will either die or somehow become cool with Tariq because I just can’t see Tariq dying or something really bad happening to him and his main enemy just rides off into the sunset

We have not been waiting to see Cane vs Tariq. We’ve been waiting for them to team up. That would be a hell of an alliance.

After that beatdown that cane gave Tariq last season, I highly doubt these guys are just going to makeup and team up like nothing happened 😂 From the moment they show started, they been telling this story that Cane is jealous of Tariq and now thinks he tried to take out Monet. They got a lot of work to do now explaining how these guys would team up all of a sudden lol

starz said shows are expensive to make after 3-4 seasons so instead of making them longer they’re replacing them with new shows that’s mostly why they’re doing a ghost and Tommy prequel because they just ended Hightown after 3 seasons so it’s only a matter of time before the other shows get canceled as well

You’re 100% right on this as I just saw this explanation along with an article on Michael Rainey Jr.’s response to the show ending. He said the cast found out it was getting cancelled along with everyone else. That’s a bad business practice as it should have been better communicated to them that the show was ending.

Instead of continuing on with the redundancy of power spinoffs, that money should have gone to hightown it had more life left and it was a great show...smdbh...

@@malikkimanimaasai3703 I agree. I also think some of those other shows they made that got canceled probably cost more than they anticipated to make. the Hightown show definitely could have continued especially since Gary Lennon is the one who helped make it standout.

I’m sure Tasha will be back in this season because Diana knows someone else tried to kill Monet. Eventually she will find out it was Tasha and we will most likely get Tasha taking on Monet or at the very least Dru and Diana will try to take out Tasha. As for Tommy, he has a lot going in Chicago now so he doubt he is coming back anytime soon if ever.

I agree 100% that this was a great run and wow if it is 10 seasons each. I know you are a huge Force fan so unfortunately you’ll have to wait a little longer for season 3 😂

Great breakdown on this surprising announcement. I am shocked that they are ending this one so soon. Out of all the spin-offs I agree that Force should have been the first choice instead of GhOst. I am happy that technically we are getting seasons 4 and 5 for Ghost with 10 episodes each (June part 1 and September part 2) I do believe we will get tension between Tariq and Brayden but I can't see either of them taking one another out. Tariq may betray Brayden. Or the "girl" he gets involved with may become his downfall. The way Monet was screaming in that trailer she may lose all her children and go completely crazy. Davis has always teetered between what benefits him the most, but in the end I see him teaming up with Tariq. I believe Omari will need to return not in GhOst form, but alive and well. Instead of Tariq getting answers from Tasha, he is going to get it from GhOst and we will go directly into Origins. I am looking forward to June and September this final ride will be epic! Thanks for the shout-out and I will be commenting with you guys in the future.

I love Cane, but Effie will betray him. I can see him feeling more love within another organization and not amongst his family, but with this being final a lot of folks will visit Power heaven. I heard Omari posted on IG something regarding Power so I have a strong feeling he will have to come back to GhOst to school Tariq. I do want Tariq to experience some turmoil just because he took Ghost out in Power bring a few of those oranges 🍊 🍊 🍊 back Omari 😂.

They should have cancelled FORCE instead of GHOST! 👎 Love Tommy, but that show just doesn't seem to be working. I don't know WHAT it is!

I agree on everything you said here man. I do like some of the cast on Force but the show is definitely missing something lol It most likely will be the next show to end unless for some reason Raising Kanan ends after next season which I doubt.

I have been watching BMF and this season has been pretty lackluster for me so far compared to the other seasons. For this reason, I most likely won’t cover it but we will be back for Power Ghost in June.
