Lauren will never be able to go back to you her regular life unless she breaks bad she went to far unfortunately and she’s been in custody for too long. When it comes to Tariq and that recording, he’s not going to use that against Effie that was never the plan, but he knew he would need the recording to convince Lauren not to testify. There’s no way that he can save himself and the business, if FE goes to jail because at that point Noma will dead them all. I Tariq could use a tape to guarantee if he’s loyal to you later on and also to keep Effie on a leash I don’t think he’ll do that either but I do think that he will explain everything that he did to Effie so that she understands everything he did was because he had to to save the business and keep everyone safe. The wrinkle in all of this will be Kane he’s not going to just forget about the fact that Lauren is alive no matter what so it’s some point Lauren is going to have to go. She’s either going to have to disappear or she’s going to get dead. Either way she’s going to be off the board, and I think Tariq is going to accept that fact and reconcile with Effie using her words against her when she said we’re both monsters, who do what we need to do.

If you notice,Tariq didnt send Lauren the recording as a voice memo or through a msg but physically brought it to her so she technically has no proof. Effie isnt going to flip imo,thats just not where they’re going with her character. The most likely to me is Cane harming Lauren and because she’s in Jenny’s custody,ILLEGALLY,Jenny’s career and case will be over. OR Tariq will convince Lauren to recant that it was Effie.

Here's another thing, Effie might be noma's daughter since it's said she is an orphan and no one knows effies childhood story, when obi was threatening the gang, Effie was not in the picture and she has no direct relatives... Or maybe obi and noma are aware Effie is her missing daughter and that's why she is never threatened directly. this might help Effie escape Lauren's case since noma is also influential and powerful. Effie might be the cause of troubles between noma and her husband

I don't think Effie will snitch. If she does she is definitely going to spend time in jail - Tariq has her recorded admitting that she "killed" Lauren. Tariq gave his sister that phone so he'll be able to contact his family if he needs to. The show has been greenlit for another season so, it's far from over for most of the characters. Cannot wait to see what happens in the next episode.

IDK, I can't see Cane, Brayden, Diana, Dru or Monet leaving, if anything Monet n Noma will meet face to face, I feel like they will figure it out. This show is too good and so are the beloved characters, they can't go.
