It's ok. My first one fizzled out within minutes. I'm not sure what happened there, but it made me skeptical of the robustness of these inverters. I have overloaded my Renogy 1000 watt inverter several times and am never scared that it won't continue to work. Also, the over-voltage protection is not really adjustable like it says it is. If you are using a lithium iron phosphate battery you have to adjust your charge controller to 14.1 volts or 14.2 volts or you'll trip the over-voltage protection. The default on the charge controller I'm using is 14.6 so I had to figure that out.
yes we also have a renogy and it works flawless as well. The power drive is in our opinion the quickest complete solution out of the box as it has cables and the replaceable fuses my renogy didnt come with either. But both work fine for us maybe you just got a bad unit?
Great review of that inverter. The Bluetooth function makes it a great option compared to others out there, especially for those of us who work out of a truck or van.
