@@taetae2400st Nah Tariq was only seeing Dirty Money his father had and as a son following after his father because of his father's game teacher (Kanan Stark) it showed how Kanan won in the end he twisted up and corrupted Tariq into the game.
@@jg2722 Nah Tariq said that because his father got physical with him so his response was resistant because Ghost reacted with physical force and friction
I’m glad I feared my father. I tried him once when I was 12. Never again. He said, “I’d rather knock you out than to see you end up being put behind bars.” That swollen jaw I got saved my life. Been on a straight path ever since. Now I’m 26 doing well for myself. I have nothing but love and respect for my father.
Mane we need to stop justifying abuse from a grown ass man smh that's trauma right there ,my step father was always cold mean most the time n always threatened me n put hands on me n it only fucked me up in the long run
Ghost and Tariq had the most intense battles on the show. RIP Ghost. I really fw Tariq too. Michael Rainey played the hell out of his part bc everybody hated him 😂👏🏾
Their intense arguments was what left Tariq so emotionally damaged and also left him hating his father... EVEN MORE! and I never hated Tariq's teen character perspective... his actions & his feelings are STILL very much MISUNDERSTOOD.
Nah Fam I hated him because of the stupid ass actions he took caused so much turmoil. The way this character was written it was made to be unlikeable any actor could play this role and I would feel the same way. Him pretending to be something he isn’t, him causing his sister death, causing that white lady to be killed , just in general a really terrible character.
It was intense cuz Tariq is just like ghost it’s like ghost alter person is talking to him reminding him how he was when he was young cuz they went they the similar thing where ghost’s dad told him to stop doing street shit and now ghost is telling Tariq to stop now will Tariq get the same fate as ghost or will he end up in prison for the rest of his life ?
@@DidNotSeeYouThere Yep but Ghost couldn't see himself he was extremely SELFISH! when it came to how he felt about Angela he broke up his family to be with her which broke Tasha's heart hurt Raina and hurt Tariq (very deeply) for he was more affected by his father moving in with Angela more than Raina was... @@TrystonJackson2005 Ghost started to see Tariq as a lil punk after finding out his son stole sneakers and was setting up robberies or in other words pulling off licks then after Raina died Ghost really never saw his son the same.
Tariq is really just kanans way of getting back at ghost. Once he found out that he disliked his parents, every seed he planted to make ghost look like a selfish deadbeat was in tariqs head, saying things like 'this is who I am' calling him selfish and a liar, just kanan using a confused kid for revenge. Crazy
Yup that’s exactly why he didn’t kill Tariq that night he set him up. He knew Tariq would eventually kill Ghost and the fact he turned his only son against him and helped him jumped off the porch was the revenge he wanted.
Tariq also didn’t understand that Ghost taking the wrap for him would have made things worse. Ghost was actually right, had Tariq stepped up to the plate given the circumstances he would have gotten a slap on the wrist. Because Ghost would be in an even better position to take care of him. It’s INSANE how naive and hard headed Tariq was😂😂😂
No! Tariq would not have gotten a slap on the wrist 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ he killed a cop (Law Enforcement) if he confessed to killing Ray Ray he was going to do some time no matter how much political Power his father would've had if he became THE governor Ghost always thought he had situations under control or on lock but even Ghost knew that if you kill a COP! you get the needle = (the death penalty) like he almost got and he didn't kill Greg now because Tariq was still a minor he wouldn't of gotten the needle but he still wouldn't of gotten away with it and if he did turn himself in like his father TOLD! him to 🤦🏽♀️ Tariq would have done a few years because killing a cop no MATTER! what the reason may be ... is still wrong killing is a crime and people do not get away with it especially!! if they confess to it themselves 🤦🏽♀️ & Ghost also wasn't thinking about his son's recent criminal activities he used a fake ID for Kanan's ashes and he got expelled from selling drugs in choate SO if HE! confessed to killing Ray Ray Blanca (for sure) wouldd have burned him with those other illegal acts so IF Tariq was turned in OR turned himself in EITHER WAY! Tariq was f****** the odds were against him because HE that knew his father was fed up with his selling antics while low key wanting his son to suffer the consequences OF HIS actions that (INDIRECTLY) played a part in Raina's tragic death.... KILL his own SON Ghost messed up when he made Tariq fear that he would if he didn't listen to him and confess/turn himself in and that's where Ghost checked mated himself in 2 ways because Tasha was not losing her son to death or to jail she was going to protect Tariq no matter what the cost was which Ghost knew and was why he was going to send Tasha to jail over Lakeisha's murder but what he didn't know was that Tariq wasn't going to let him send his mother to jail or physically hurt her ever again... Ghost wanted to be legit and he wasn't going to let anything or anybody get in the way of his legit future not even his own son's protection also that deal was another LIE! I'm laughing because Tariq becoming disrespectful to Ghost had Ghost shook. He knew he was losing ground when Tariq stopped caring. I feel like we're seeing that with Kane and Lorenzo.
That’s a way to look at it but I think this is wrong, I think that Ghost wasn’t shook at all, he was mad cus he was seeing a lot of canan in tariq whike tariq was given anything. Ghost also was waaay too overconfident in his intelligence but it backfired cus he trusted family too much. Kane and Lorenzo was a whole different story, Kane is captain now😂😂😂

It really comes down to everyone's wants, Ghost wanted to change life and go legit, Tasha wanted a partner regardless or legal/illegal (minus james st patrick), Tariq wanted to know the truth about who his father really was before wanting the change to his life
