Keiichi Wada and Tsutomu Kitagawa presents us with the Henshin performance during the Super Sentai Legacy Panel. Power Morphicon 5 took place at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California on August 12 - 14, 2016!
What I love the most about Keiichi Wada is how passionate he always is when it comes to reprising his Ryuuranger role, he always does it so enthusiastically, he lives the role of Ryō!
I love how Keiichi progressively builds the character while interacting with the audience. He goes from "ah this is stupid I don't wanna be here" to intimidating martial arts sensei.
That was COOL!!! Bonus points for getting so many of the original Dairangers involved. We so need them back for more than a cameo in a future anniversary (Heck, Kou's actor seems to be the right age to play a new Ranger :) ).
And have them meet the Zyuranger and Mighty Morphin' casts as well for the ultimate Sentai/Power Rangers reunion. Unfortunately, Machiko Soga (Bandora), Tatsuya Nomi (ShishiRanger), and Robert Axelrod (Lord Zedd and Finster) are dead......
Man its CRAZY they still remember the moves!!! I guess after doing it for like 50 episodes.. probably multiple takes... I guess it's just something that sticks with you!
I mean as long as their body still has the capacity to do it (a kick that high is pretty impressive), the moves aren't that hard to relearn. And I'm pretty sure Wada Keiichi has that permanently implanted in his brain seeing how much he loves Ryuuranger and does the Tenshin everywhere he goes
@@hornitako7006 Wada also seems to be a tokusatsu fan himself, given the fact that he also appeared as a guest star in other two occasions - new hero Sieg in the GoGo V film and the original Ryuki in the Ryuki film.
Also, in the future, would like to see the actors who played Kou (KibaRanger) and Burai (DragonRanger) meet Jason David Frank AND react together to Lord Drakkon in the Shattered Grid trailer.
Nice to see them being invited in Morphicon, Ironically the main 5 DaiRanger never made an appearance in Power Rangers while the White Ranger is the only one to appear there, who has less screen time in the Super Sentai as Kiba Ranger.
Technically though they did through super mega force. But still you’re right, kinda wish the current comics fixed this since they’re on the season 2 team already
The Zyuranger suits were iconic and Saban didn’t wanna switch it up immediately, but with the show getting stale and viewership dropping, they just decided to go for it and use Ohranger for footage.
R.I.P Daigo I can't believe he has left us.. I've only watched Dairanger recently and I must say... the OG Sentai counterparts are so much better than what Saban made power rangers to be.
@jason smith Me too, along with Trini Kwan, Udonna, Shane Clarke, Lord Zedd, Dr. Man, and Grifforzer (his voice actor died). In fact, several Sentai mecha and monster VAs had died.
