@xEliJayy There's no such rule. If you want it, get it. Tons of adult collectors out there. Plenty of worse things someone can do than buy a toy they like. :-/
Ten years later, I'm certainly glad I never bought this. We got a couple of alternatives when the Legacy and Soul of Chogokin lines produced their own versions. The Legacy version was very good and the SOC version was a modified Legacy version to be compatible with the SOC Megazord and Titanus.
Awesome review man, I have a dumb question. Is it posible to fit the original Megazor, the Ninja and Shogun megazords as well? And if so can you do a quick video for size comparison, im seriously thincking on getting this guy but mostly for my 3rd season collection. Cheers!
I heard that while Power Rangers Samurai is out on TV and toys, the MMPR toyline will continue with it, so a toy only toyline and tv show toy line, that'd be awesome!
Someone pointed me to this video, saying you had confirmation of the remake-Dragonzord. I've heard for several months that because Saban got back PR, Disney was no longer allowed to finish off any of its own PR lines. (Damn- I wanted the Retrofire Thundersaurus & Titan Megazords...) Oh, and I got all three original Dlx. Zords back in '93, I don't need the new ones though the decals are now show accurate. --EVA_Unit_4A
It works more or less, the shoulder slots don't slide in, but fold them all the way out and they rest around the megazord's neck and the original titanus claws attach as well. Sadly the one I got off ebay didn't have the chest piece so I can confirm that.
It's funny how you go into the Mix and Morph function not being that worth it, and how most people are just going to get it for the Titanus. I'm the exact opposite, the Mix and Morph feature is what I want the most. The reason for this is because I'm a fan of the Ben 10 series, and they created a series of figures called Alien Creation. It's the exact same idea as this, and from what I've seen, it's all cross-compatible. I've recently taken an interest in collecting the Alien Creation figures, but the Mix and Morph figures have become a secondary interest, due to the cross-compatibility.
I have no regrets not getting this titanus. I've been on top of collecting all the legacy including the plastic megazord, but I didn't feel right getting this titanus.
I agree. The Titanus looks good as far as show accuracy. I wish they wouldve left the chains on though. Not a fan of the Mix-n-Morph gimmick, but thats just for little kids i suppose. Another great review JT.
the 2010 Dragonozord was supposed to be released in 2011 but now the new toy line starts in december so it has been said that the dragozord has been canceled.
Simple Answer: NO. I've heard from all across the web that Bandai America did have plans to make a 2010 DragonZord BUT, around that time, Haim Saban bought the franchise right back from Disney and thus, all the toy plans that Bandai America had for MMPR 2010 were more or less SCRAPPED. NOW, if what some representatives at Toy Fair have said "Wait for 2013" is true, we MIGHT/Cross your fingers on the MIGHT, we MIGHT get the 2010 DragonZord to complete 2010 Titanus and Megazord.
do u think the original titanus would go with the power rangers 2010 zords cuz i have the power rangers 2010 zords the original dragonzord n i want the titanus to make it complete so how can i combine them all
why have they re-released the mightymorphin zords from the 90's?? also what happened to the combination of the megazord and titanus? i remember when i had it you could combine the 2 to create the ultrazord i think it was, is this still the same?
Possibly. Some people are willing to get the boxes for older toys even if they have some damage. Could check eBay and see if any look similar to yours.
it looks like the doors for putting the mix and morth ranger figures in there to store probaly. and do you think that there re showing the original power rangers series to please the older fans or for the younger generation?
All they would have to do is take out the mix and morph feature, adjust the bay door, adjust the chest and back in order for the Dragonzord chest and tail to fit, and that's it.
@Elberttreble Due to new sizing, The Dragonzord parts might not fit properly, but the Megazord should go into the original Titanus with extra space to spare.
*shudders* I was originally excited about this re-roll of the classics...but Im a little sad they cheapened them. Im glad I still have my originals :D Thanks for making the review.
Iv'e read that they cancelled the next wave or something like that, is it true, please don't let that be true!! I want the white ranger and dragonzord.
This has been my stand in Legacy Titanus & while chincy its not a bad piece. I just got a deal on Black Legacy so Im not sure how Im gonna change my display since Legacy MZ is based off the companion piece for this
My titanus just came in today and it's not bad at all. The sticker applying was a drag though lol. Can't wait for Dragonzord now. And my mix and morph figures are gonna collect dust and stand on my shelf with my wrestling figures lol.
Hey Mitchell, As late as I am in realizing the MMPR stuff was re-released I still managed to grab a titanus for 20$ earlier this year. I can't find a megazord anywhere and it's driving me insane! I also checked ebay and it seems resellers are tripling the price! know a place I can find it? And just so you know, I contacted bandai america and they told me there is no dragonzord remake planned. sad face.
well, idk if its true but one day i was loking up the dragonzord bio (dont ask) and i saw it saying it was remade, it had a picture, the dragonzord was in the samuria packaging, idk why, idk if its a target or toys r us exclusive, idk, but i never saw in in the walmart supercenter or kmart where i live, idk, it might come out, idk
I'm kinda pissed that they've released Titanus FOUR damn times, and the Megazord 3 times, but the Dragonzord...The MOST REQUESTED toy, they've released just once 20 years ago.
Hey could you do a review of sorts where you combine the Dino Megazord and Legacy Dragonzord with this guy? I wanna see if it'd make a better replacement for the upcoming Legacy Titanus that would cost an arm, leg, a quart or two of blood and your first born lol
just got this off ebay, the guy i got it from had out on the stickers for me, but he didn't send the little rangers, but i could just find them on ebay too
The worst thing about the relaunch of MMPR was Bandai had no interest in the collectors after all we; the original fans made the show Austin St. John said that himself. Without the Mighty fans there would be no Power Rangers period. They still made a toy line with the older fans in mind but only had interest in selling to little kids. So we have a Titanus with a crappy Mix n Morph feature. There are already two of them on store shelves collecting dust. Why a third? It's just unnecessary.
I think it would have been better and less cost effective for Bandai to just rerelease all the old 90s PR toys, afterall these new MMPR toys kind of insult the intelligence of children by them more or less saying "Oh they're only kids, they won't care" so they stick silly gimmicks into the toys that were never seen in the show.
Funny, if it WAS for small kids, it'd be unsafe as the Morph figures are small parts. So really, who is this for? As you said, probably for those of us who can't afford the old Titanus.
thats a fake man lol, but i have heard rumors of saban re-realeasing the dragonzord with diecast parts for the 20th anniversary line but I dont know if that is 100 percent true though
I can't wait for the new legacy thunderzords to come out! I want the white tiger zord and red dragon zord specifically. The only thing I don't like is the show accurate green head on the lion I think it looks weird.
Alex Dalton So they've confirmed they're doing a Legacy Thunder Megazord? I know the Legacy Tigerzord is out, but I've heard nothing about a Legacy Thunder Megazord? Any word on a release date for it? I imagine they'll also eventually release a Legacy Tor the Shuttlezord as well.
