@@MajinxDrolta I understand what you may be thinking, since dbfz is team based, andit has a dynamic tag system, why is it not the successor? Dbfz does not have the same room for player expression that mvc and Power Rangers has, from combos all the way to how you select your team, dbfz characters are all basically copy and paste while in mvc you can take a character like Iron Man and do good, then try to play another flight character like doctor doom, off the bat you can tell these 2 characters are so different it is mind boggling. Power Rangers is literally UMVC3 with active tag, like down to the bone. Yes it is WAY easier than dbfz to pick up and play, but the way each character syncs with the cast is limitless. Plus ryu and chun-li are in it and they play EXACTLY like umvc3, LMH with an S launcher, can’t get any close than that. Sorry for the long paragraph😂.

@@twizzy7529 maybe I just suck cause I just got it and the game mechanics are so weird. It’s makes no sense how you can continue a combo after the player has already touched the ground. That’s literally OP asf. you don’t even get a chance to play, like in this video, if your opponent is good and spends all day labing. Like there no real way to get your opponent off of you.

@@MajinxDroltawelcome to tag fighters where one hit leads to death and there is a high chance that you will be watching a one player game. Fun to play but boring to watch in certain scenarios

The game had a very shaky launch. But for people who are willing to give the game a chance and miss that MVC style gameplay, its great. Theres Rollback Netcode and its Fully crossplay across Playstation, Xbox, Pc, and switch

The game has been promoted many times by Max and others but not many people like the touch of deaths, infinites, unblockables, chip damage or the fact there are no breakouts. A game can have rollback and crossplay but if people don't like the mechanics, they won't bother to try it.

I was surprised to see some combos not killing during this tournament. Even my casual behind was able to develop TOD after landing for a few days on a character. The fact that you gain so much meter during a combo almost always guarantees that your combos will have a super in them.

Yeah but it was made by a prominent MvC player, so it was always going to be a Marvel-style game

@_ csauce22 Hori would probably work on xbox . A cheaper option would be to get a brooks pcb, and replace the stock pcb that came with the stick.

Nope, this game is very unforgiving. There are answers to get out of pressure on block, but once you get hit you have to hold everything.

@@animaIpath Is it as consistent as PR : BftG ? I dont think so. Compare matches for DBFZ vs PR. In DBFZ you need at least 3 bars of meter + Sparking with certain characters to do TOD. Sparking is a 1 time use. PR requires 2 bars at least for certain characters. Thats it. Meter gain is much faster in PR. I think the assists cooldown is faster as well.
