Good News! Angela's contract wasn't renewed for Season 2, so this is the last time we'll have to see her! And I love that Season 1 ends so unceremoniously. It really makes the events of the Season 2 debut seem to come out of nowhere. And Happy 30th Anniversary to Power Rangers fans of all walks of life. May the power protect us all.

The only bad thing about season 2 is that the departure of Walter, Austin and Thuy. Because they introduced two new characters to show that was supposed to be close to Zack and Trini. One being a cousin to Zack and the other being a possible love interest for Trini. I hope that Minh's father is Richie.

This was a great episode & to answer your question they didn't say Angelo they said Angela no when Jason, Billy, & Trini got to the restaurant. Plus its a bit weird in the last Rita said "That's it no more seafood" & in this episode she uses a seafood based monster. I also agree that Zack should give up on Angela since she wouldn't give him the time of day.

Zack with the Dragon shield was an unintended foreshadowing to the sixth Zeo ranger. Also, this is first Zyu2 footage where only two rangers appears in it. Yellow, Pink, Red and the Blue weren't in the Oysterizer fight (the rangers in the Megazord cockpit don't count as it is recycled footage from the Zyuranger). BTW Rita, I thought you said no more seafood.

I don't know how far in advance you guys watch the episodes and record your reactions, but, just so you're aware Nicki, we will see the season 1 opening two more times before they transition to the first season 2 opening. I guess just so the Thunderzords, Lord Zedd, and other changes wouldn't be spoiled by the opening. Similar to how later seasons have an opening for the season premiere, or like the first two episodes, and then they'll give us the general first season opening until the sixth Ranger/additional Rangers, new villains, or new Zords are introduced throughout the course of the season. This episode is great. It's one of my favourites, especially because it's the last time Tommy gives the Dragon Shield to anyone, and the last time the original Megazord is seen in action for almost 30 years. And it's Angela's last episode too. They may have had plans to bring her back after the actress's child was born, but with Walter leaving the show, forcing the writers to write Zack out of the show, they decided not to bring Angela back. Also, did you notice they didn't even bother showing Rita and her minions, or Zordon and Alpha again once the Rangers had destroyed the monster?

What a great way to wrap up season 1! While i think later seasons definitely have more of a "wrapped up storyline" feel, you definitely see pushed boundaries in tv production such as slightly more aggressive fights especially underwater. I feel like after they got the order for me episodes back in Doomsday, they had the chance to establish some character points to develop in season 2. Anyway, next week begins one of my favourite sets of episodes in Power Rangers and I can't wait. Well done on 1 year of MMPR reactions and I can't wait for more Morphin⚡️Mondays to come!

No, it's not the last time you ever see this opening! The very first episode of Season 2 still uses this opening, due to the fact that Lord Zedd hasn't been fully entrenched as the new villain just yet.

PS: No, they will use the season 1 intro until third episode of the next season. And the Dragonzord fight with the Oysterizer was much longer but for some reason they trimmed it down.

In the next three episodes whenever the rangers are morphed in the USA footage its the actual actors in the morphed ranger costumes doing all there own stunts so keep that in mind watching the putty fights, they all do a really amazing job going above and beyond for the franchise haha. Great video BTW, I look forward to the one.

Zyu2 Unused Footage: Zack using his visor as a scanner on the beach before fighting the monster. Dragonzord walking to megazord was a bit longer. Oysterizer worshiping the pearl was also a bit longer. Dragonzord fought the oysterizer more after the monster hits the dragonzord. More close up and physical contact before Dragonzord is hit back. I've also seen a picture of american footage with black ranger wearing the shield besides the green ranger on the beach. Possibly a cut scene or promotional picture I'm guessing.

Zack was the only other ranger to ware the shield? You forgot the red ranger wore the shield when Tommy and Jason faced Titanis to get the weapons to destroy the Super putty

Another good reaction guys. This is a little bit of a creepy episode but i still enjoyed it. I have to agree with Nikki the first Unmorphed fight with Trini, Billy & Jason should have lasted longer. And thanks to Monty for giving Billy The props he deserves because you are right At this point Billy had already improved a lot since the first episode especially his fighting skills+ ability. And does anyone notice that in the first Unmorphed fight between the putties with Trini, Billy +Jason that most of the putties seem to be going after Billy because while Billy is fighting on top of the picnic tables there are several of them surrounding the tables after Billy. And at the same time Trini+ Jason are both only having to fight off 1 putty at a time where Billy is having to fight off 4 or 5 putties coming after him & surrounding the tables.😮😮😬😬😬

MontyVerse and Nicki, That was a fantastic and an awesome Reaction to the 1st Season Finale of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Also, Jason, Billy, and Trini did a fantastic Job in taking care of the Putties in the Unmorphed Fight. Also, Tommy gave Zack the Dragon Shield to protect from the Acid gel. Also, Both the Megazord and the Dragonzord faced off with the Oysterizer. Also, The Megazord took care of the Oysterizer with the Powersword. the episode mighty morphin power rangers season 1 episode 60 1x60 "an oyster stew" is a very good episode and a epic season finale of mighty morphin power rangers. Tommy heals him from the acid gel and gives his dragon shield to Zack this episode. Zack with the Dragon shield was so fricking epic and badass they both were and that monster fight at the end of the episode was awesome and epic.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

i am really glad the season 1 finale the episode "an oyster stew" is the last episode and the very last time we see Angela and we never see her again after this i never liked her character to begin with. i've also brought this up before in a previous comment as well. there are three reasons i never liked her number #1 Angela is "ugly" and i never found her "attractive" Kimberly and Trini are more attractive and are way hotter then angela reason number #2 i never liked her is because of the way she was always rejecting Zack for no reason and turning him down i didn't like it and it always pissed me off and you can't count her going out on a date with him on this episode because the man had to "almost" literally beg her to go out with him and give him a chance and she almost said "no" and rejected him even then reason number #3 i never liked her character she's completely irrelevant to the series and she serves no purpose and there's no reason to have her on the show. Bulk and Skull may be Jerks and people might not like them but at least they're relevant to the show and there's a reason to have them on the show and they "actually" serve a purpose and Bulk and Skull are actually entertaining but what reason was there at all to have angela on the show give me 1 good reason tell me go ahead i'll wait.... i think the only reason they had her on the show was just to be Zack's crush/love interest no other reason. P.S. oh and one more thing Tommy is awesome and epic in the series Tommy Jason and Zack are the three best Rangers of the original team in mighty morphin and they are the Goat🐐Go Green Ranger Green Ranger for life baby.🔥🔥🔥🔥
