Power Rangers Interactive Movie Megazord! 

Thanks for the info about the sensor automatically setting off the foot thrusters when it's raised. Didn't notice that when I unboxed it. Let's have a Megazord battle!

I like how the individual Dinozords (as far as you can tell from the box) look like the Dinobots from Transformers: Age of Extinction.

All the Zords look like futuristic Zoids. The creators had to have been inspired by that franchise when they made this movie.

Looks more like one of Ooze's robots than a Zord. Does definitely look like a giant guy in a suit with some armor pieces attached.

I'd prefer to have the Megazord look more like a Sentai-esque Jaeger.

I personally am excited to see the Megazord in the movie look as different as it is. Playing to what we know, the powers are Alien in origin so this is pretty much what I'd expect a Giant Humanoid Gestalt Robot built by beings from another galaxy to look like

when the pictures first leaked, i actually really liked the design. i thought it looked more "super robot-ish". this video actually makes me like the design even more

The Dinozords must be from alien dinosaurs because I'm seeing Triceratops with six legs and Mastodon with 8 legs. I can't believe no one is mentioning this! I like it! I want to see a whole take on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers makes the movie far more interesting.

Looks great. But i feel the need to know how the 5 zords combine before i decide whether i like it or not.

The Megazord is pretty cool! It's very different to see him out of the box! I'm excited!

I'm glad the Megazord can fly now. I always thought it should because it's part pterodactyl. I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie. I hope it's great.

I don't put a ton of weight into how this one looks, because I consider it a "separate" kind of toy. Not sure if the movie megazord will streamline so much when it transforms, but I'm more concerned with how the one you can put together will look. The zords actually look good, except for Mastadon which has far too many legs for some reason. For what this is, it looks good and I like it.

There are bits that I like - the helmet is growing on me and the silver chest is vaguely reminiscent of Daizyujin - but I still need to understand this thing in the context of the movie. Overall designwise, I've loved everything that's been revealed so far, but I'm still not really sold on the Megazord. I do really dig the individual Zords, though

Jungle Fury mentioned the Morphin' Grid and RPM did too. RJ in Episode 1 said it when he created the Solar Morphers and Dr. K I believe said it a few times as well throughout the series.

I don't know why, but I find the light up feet & the sensor mode so cool! I really dig that. Also the size is appreciative, as twice of Legacy Zord. Guess the design is starting to grow on me. Really wanna get a hang of a toy right now.

Blue face. Wings. I feel like this could have been Goldar's design. Just switch the red, silver, and yellow to gold and bam, you got something that slightly resembles Goldar.

I love everything that I am seeing for the Power Rangers movie! Everything! Characters, suits, megazord, everything! Can't wait to see the movie and more merchandise!

Great review. But i really cannot stand the design they went with for the megazord.

How can you not like the look of this?! I'm so happy it's nothing like the TV show Megazord (and I love that one) but this is a reboot, everything is new and fresh, the franchise needed this, and I'm gonna be the first in line to see this opening day!

I just wish they kept more of the original layout, for example, I'm fine with the Pterodactyl Zord moving from the front of the Megazord to the back, giving it wings, that's a really cool change, but I don't see the reason why they made saber-toothed tiger a stomach instead of a leg and seem to have almost completely removed Mastodon (I heard he MIGHT be a leg, but I'm not sure), I just feel like the movie Megazord should've been its own thing and not just the Megazord from the show, but not completely different from the Megazord from the show... Does that make sense? I really can't tell XD

I like it. I actually like it a lot. It's different, and I applaud the studio and movie for stickinng to their guns for it and being confident in showing the zords and Megazord early. Of course I wanted a modern take on the Megazord that I grew up on, but this new looks like the Ninja Megazord but with the dinozords instead. I'm pretty excited for the movie

I love the concept that makes it more difficult to tell what goes where! Certainly a nice and very welcome twist.

Its a departure, but I dig it. Anyone not understanding the changes from cheap tv shows to big budget movies does not deserve to watch movies. I will save my final judgement on it for when I see it in film. Like I said, its departure, but I like it! Can't wait for the film!

So it looks like Pink = head/wings, Red = upper body, blue = both legs, yellow = lower body, black = arms? If the zords that combine looks like this I'll need to make room next to the Zyuranger zords

as more of a sentai fan than a power rangers fan, i think it lacks alot of the charm that sentai mecha have, though i can see why they've designed it to be more appealing to a wider audience

I have a feeling this is going to be like Michael Bay's Transformer toy lines. Movie machines are so different from the toy line. And maybe also the Beast machine toy lines... Man, I was so disappointed as a kid back then.

I love it!!! Especially because of the little rangers! I am keeping an open mind with this movie. I really want something different. If there was one toy I hope we get its helmetless Rangers.

I love Power Rangers and I wait this movie so much but I think all of MMPR movie is a prequel of Pacific Rim xD

It may be tricky to see which zords form which parts, but I kinda like this new megazord. Really looking forward to the new movie in March!

Actually, Jungle fury was the last season to mention the morphing grid, because rj said that he knew someone who was able to tap into the morphing grid

The individual zords look more like insects than dinosaurs. Is that a triceratops of a centipede? A mammoth or a spider? What the hell is going on here? I also think the Megazord looks like a MegaMan X boss.

I did not expect this to be out so soon... or maybe its cos I am in Australia and I expect everything to be late. I like the look of this Megazord and since it is CG (probably), the need for it to make sense for combining was unnecessary (like Bayverse Transformers) and I am ok with that. Though, I'd like to say I called it and the Red Ranger is actually Krang and the Megazord is his robot body from the 90s cartoon. Thanx for this first look/review Bruno!

I thunk that that's where the rangers are gonna stay. If you look at where the rangers go in, there's little blue window looking things that line up to where their heads are. I do hope they have the rangers together in the cockpit.

I'm surprised that I LIKE it! For a start... The figure does look cool with all the features!

I know a lot of "traditional" fans hate the new zord design, along with pretty much everything else involving the movie. me personally, I'm indifferent and excited to just see power rangers for an older audience. If Pacific Rim and Transformers has taught us anything, the movie doesn't have to be good to be successful, it just has to look cool as hell.

it says "Interactive" as if there's another component to the toy we don't already know. Are there other toys that will work with this one? kinda like the hulk buster armor for the Avengers Age of Ultron movie?

Any megazord that has wings and can fly gets a huge thumbs up in my book :)

It does look very alien, I'll give it that. Hope it looks good in action and has more color details where it's mostly gray in the movie.

IDK I like the zord. Is fitting to the alien esque design of the ranger suits.

Looks awesome, but doesn't look like what I was expecting the megazord to look like.

I've had a thought about where the Mastadon sits for the Megazord, looking at the feet thrusters, they look like connection points for the Triceratops so i think the Triceratops and Mastadon separate and link up into the legs

I might be crazy, but I kind of like it. Totally different from the Megazord I grew up with, but the look has this certain 'alien' quality to it that feels more in line with the aesthetic we've seen so far from the movie. They kept some colour accents from the original, but if it was a full-blown colour explosion people would say it looks too childish. Waiting to see how it looks on screen.

Great video as usual, I've noticed that both Mastadon and Triceratops have six legs (no tank treads for the Triceratops this time), I'm hoping the transforming one is better as there isn't enough detail and colour on this one.

The last season to mention the Morphin Grid was actual Jungle Fury, when RJ talks about a friend of a friend or something like that who tapped into the Grid for him

Hard to believe it's already been a year since we first saw this. I was disappointed in the design at first, but after seeing it in trailers and then in the movie, I've really come around to it. There are some visual connections to the original that I really appreciate - like the head being similar, chest being similar, and Triceratops forming the lower legs - but none of the toys really do the design justice. This one (and by extension the Legacy BAF) may be salvageable with paint modifications, like pink on the wings, blue on the kneecaps, and red instead of pink on the head, as it appeared in the film. While I think having two versions of the Megazord available in stores was a smart move, I wish they were more in scale with the regular DX Megazords of the main line. Buying five huge Zords separately to form one big Megazord that's way too big and can barely stand up is a burden on the wallet. For as much as I love the movie, I think it's fair to say that the toyline was poorly thought out.

Actually RJ mentioned the Morphin Grid when he gave the Solar Morphers to the core three, and in RPM there was a "universal biofield" or something that was mentioned by Dr K. Neo Saban series havent mentioned the Morphin Grid so far

I don't hate it because it's different from the original. I hate it because it doesn't look like a gattai mecha. if this was a stand alone robot, it doesn't look bad. but to make this monstrousity means you need to have really terrible individual mecha. and the individual mecha are a big part of the over-all quality of the megazord.

Also, Mastadon with eight legs? Triceratops with six? Anyone actually bother figuring out what these creatures look like before making these designs?

the morpher makes sounds but only activation no voice. the morpher has a closing mechanism and the coins go in the center of the morpher.

The good thing about power rangers is that they could easily get a new megazord that looks better and just say it was an upgraded megazord.

Soo it looks like each of those little pods on the arms, legs and under the neck are a cockpit? They're not all in the same command centre? I'm really intrigued with what they do next, if and when they introduce the Dragonzord. Early days, so there might be a new, more intricate figure down the line- just compare the Leader Class transformers from the first two movies.

I'm sure someone mentioned this already (I'm too lazy to check) but the morphin grid was a throwaway line in the first episode of jungle fury and rpm had their own version of it

I got so many Tigerzords I can open a zoo of them. I actually see a similar design to Max Steel's flight mode when I look at this thing. Different in a good way.

European release of the Time Force Megazord had working cockpits but no included figures.

Honestly, I want to see how it combines in-movie before I judge it completely. I personally don't like when combining mecha don't have obvious bits that are the components, but if that combination sequence is awesome enough, I can forgive it I guess.

Wait, wait, WAIT!!! THAT'S the new Megazord? The one who I said I'd give it a chance even though the movie trailer made Power Rangers some type of emo thing? Frix, my hope for this movie just nose dived. It was the Megazord! It was supposed to destroy the badness, not add to it.

I honestly like it. To me it's not really Bay-Former-ish, more like Pacific Rim. Cannot wait to see the movie
