Thanks a lot for your optimistic and hopeful opinions on this Andre. I feel like the community is either been very negative about this or some fans are angry at the negative fans and labeling them as toxic. And yeah I really do hope they do more teams and release them properly. We know they say MMPR now but as you've said they've done other iterations of the Ninja Turtles before so it shouldn't be out of the realm for Playmates Toys to make besides MMPR. Let's also hope that there is more news this year for Power Rangers in terms of shows and movies. Cause Playmates is gonna need some media to help tie in with their toys. Also kind of awkward we just get the news that the main MMPR comic run is ending today.

@@Late30sDudeI mean it still holds up as the most successful and recognisable team, I wouldn’t be surprised to see updated figures from that era though even then Ninja Force don’t get a lot of recognition as well as the movie version too so would be great to see ALL iterations of MMPR get their time in the sun before moving onto all the other eras.

Well remember the villain of Power Rangers the Movie in 95 was named Ivan Ooze! The Ninja Turtles, mutated by ooze. Hmmm. Ivan Ooze, Secret of the Ooze! There could be a crossover connection there.

@@CosplayingwithChad I bought it off Amazon if we're talking about the same figure. It's a cool Ivan Ooze figure with interchangeable hands, light post, etc, that came in a triangular box. I let my nephew play with the figure for two years (still does once in a while, but hit the video game phase) without the knowledge that the hands detach or of the other parts in the box and the paint didn't get worn off and the hands never went missing so the paint and joint mold are top quality. I should've bought two. 😎

I bought the Rita/Zedd, Scorpina/Aisha (x2), Goldar (Gamestop exclusive), Finster (x2), & Deluxe Megazord (x2) lightning figures as well as all phases of Super7 ReAction Power Rangers figures. I still want to find a Lightning Collection putty (x3 or x5), but am not sure which one I want to get. I like the one that changes from Rita's to Zedd's putty and has the jersey, but those are harder to find. I bought all eight of the retro-morphin figures (x2). A set for my nephew to play with and a set to keep sealed for myself. Bought a few toys by Imaginext. The Rita palace, Rita & her minions (missing Goldar & putties), and a Red Ranger to go with the huge megazord they did. My brother found it at Goodwill for $15 and grabbed it for me. I let my nephews play with it too. They love it. I hope fans buy what they can yo support these releases. I am doing my best for my part.

Geez, I'd love to have the helmets for: White Dino Ranger, Quantum Ranger and come on don't we still need the Black & Yellow MMPR helmets to complete that set?! Would love other Megazords getting modern models because let's be real not everyone had parents that could afford each and every figure, Zord, morpher, weapon, etc. that came out back in the day. Wish I had the Q-Rex & Quantum Morpher for example!

This is a fantastic announcement! I strongly trust playmates and I hope that they will indeed make some changes with the current plans for Power Rangers toys! I definitely want more of the middle seasons to get more representation! Also I love your crossover suggestions! However if this does mean that the Lighting collection might be gone soon, then I will certainly shed some tears for it. However I hope that something great can come out of this and it can be like a new flame burning in place of the old. Thanks for sharing this information with us! May the power protect you and thanks again for always sharing such fantastic Power Rangers and TMNT content! Always looking forward to your videos on either or both platforms!

Legendary Morpher with Ranger Keys for every ranger, both adapted and Power Rangers exclusive (Titanium Ranger, Jungle Fury Spirit Rangers). Possibly including post Megaforce teams, since there are post Gokaiger Ranger Keys for the Mobirates.

I was collecting the Lightning Collection up until they put it on ice. I hope it returns. There are a few characters I never got. If Playmates ends up continuing the line, I don't have the confidence in their ability to make 6 inch highly articulated action figure collectables. Kids toys; Yeah. Adult collectables; Nope.

If Playmates IS gonna be producing all PR toys, I REALLY hope Hasbro gives them access to the LC molds, cuz unless they make an insanely superior figure, I doubt folks are gonna be game to buy into an all new collector figure line, ESPECIALLY if this means folk's power weapon and mmpr helmet collections are gonna go unfinished.

It’s actually funny that I’m just watching this video bc I just bought a lighting collection trini as I cry after buying it because I never thought trini would get anything outside of a pop funko(which I have) especially since trini was and still is my favorite ranger along with being one of my earliest tv crushes. G-d damn it now I’m going to cry while writing this. I just really hope playmates toys will take the morphers and well Transform the toy brand into something new but old at the same time

As a fan of “Wild Force”, I was REALLY hoping Hasbro’s Lightning Collection would release a Zen-Aku figure. Say what you will about “Wild Force”, Zen-Aku was one of the coolest Power Ranger villains ever and had an awesome design! I would LOVE to own a 6-inch tall Zen-Aku action figure! 🐺

Whether through Playmates or Hasbro, I hope they complete the unfinished teams from the Lightning Collection (won't hold my breath tho). Obviously they want to be profitable, so they should lean into something like a more efficient version of the HasLab project where fans can essentially decide what they make next. I'd definitely go after anything villain related.

I really hope the whole reboot concept goes to the big screen. I really hope for a new season. Maybe less connected to the previous ones, but with new suits, new zords and new characters to enjoy. Power Rangers is the only one of its kind still standing proud. It holds the torch as the only non japanese property (at least not *fully*, you know what I mean) to stand proud as one of the giants of the tokusastu genre.

It seems like just yesterday I was learning about them moving to Hasbro from one of your videos. Remember that one commenter who suggested that they make PR Nerf weapons, including a Black Ranger axe that shot darts? That was an awesome idea! Hasbro totally slept on crossover opportunities like that. Maybe they could still do Nerf stuff for Transformers and G.I. Joe.

It’s very interesting the moves Hasbro is making. I am not sure what thier business model is. Just hope Power Rangers fans can get what they are looking for at reasonable prices. Im genuienly hoping that the lightning collection is not discarding the lightning collection. I mean the one thing i liked from that is that they gave chances to different series and while i didnt collect a lot, i recently got a Mesogog figure I do hope that they either improove lightning collection, or they continue the trend of giving different power ranger generations spotlight if companies change. I mean i want more villains, i feel they dont get enough attention

Hasbro LC was the only Power Rangers line I've bought since I was a kid. I don't expect to be getting anything Playmates makes. They have yet to make a decent adult collector figure. This likely means the lightning collection will not continue under Hasbro, which means no more PR for me.

Hasbro knows they’ve bitten off more than they can chew. It’s all about slimming down and narrowing focus. It’s the lesson that Disney needs to learn.

I just hope this means new PR content, I’ve always wanted to see the medium evolve pass it’s super sentai roots, id love to see an animated adaptation of PR x TMNT or adaptation of the MMPR comics, but it just sucks that we never got some ranger teams in the LC, I grew up in the Disney era and we were just starting to get more Disney era figures, but now it’s all pain.
