Hey guys, from Bandai America, here is the 2013 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Megazord. It's the same mold as the 2010 Megazord, but it's been updated (paint, stickers, chrome, die-cast parts, fancier box, etc). Check out the video in full for the review, comparisons, info, toy hunts, and have you seen Jerry...? He's missing!

missed the videos glad your guy are back, seeing the 93 and the 2013 side beside remind me of those before and after videos/photos. im hoping to get the 2013 megazord and morpher. on my 93 megazord i lucked out actually i was able to get it with everything. i hope they bring out a dragzord and titanus

Bruno, You and Mia do a great job! I really enjoy your videos and enthusiasm for the power rangers. I was born in 1984, and grew up with the MMPR. Your videos keep the nostalgia for me alive. "Trails" is a pretty cool effect. If it were a tighter shot and you could see what I was doing better, the effect would be unnecessary and distracting. Since you couldn't, the footage either needed some effect, or to be cut entirely. I ended up speeding up the footage and adding trails (and cutting it way down). Trust me, it's better this way.

Do you have any suggestions for painting the red on the Pterodactyl chest plate? Like what shade or type of paint to use? My local comic book store has a used Legacy Megazord (out of box) for $60 but the paint is chipped off in several areas.

I finally got mine a couple of weeks ago. It took me forever to put the stickers on it. Mostly cause I was trying to get them as straight as possible. I can't wait to get the Dragonzord though. It looks like it's gonna be pretty sweet! Nice vid.

I've shown three; the Original from '93, 2010, and 2013. The new ones are of course not the original b/c they're new. I think that much is evident...

Curious if you could do a video on the maintenance of the megazord. Ive noticed the chrome is getting a grime... Its not as shiny. Anything you could suggest to clean this?

Keep in mind it's still the same mold as 2010. If there was anything about the mold you didn't like, it'll be the same. Just with a great paint job, better stickers, metal, and chrome. And really nice box.

We don't have any plans to, but that could change. It was very last minute last year. It was when I heard about the Samurai Final Victory Pack that I realized we were going...immediately.

damn that awesome zord was 60bucks at TRU, and the megaforce zord was only 35... so i got the megaforce one, he's kinda nice, got to custom him a little bit for less cheapness lol

I think Jerry is actually Robo Knight so that would explain a lot. I do have a question though, do you of any where to get a well made Dragon Dagger? Not the toy, but a really good prop.

question: the Legacy Megazord is mage from the same molds of the 2010-Megazord, so would the legacy Dragonzord fit / work with the 2010-zord?

What paint and stickers are missing from the 2013 version that 2010 had? You can get a CS TOYS shirt from CS TOYS. I'm sure they still have them. I'm not sure what more I can say/show outside of the above video. The Megazord seems pretty good to me...

I really wish I would have known about this last year, or had been a subscriber to your channel last year :/ I found out about the Legacy Dragonzord and Dagger a few months ago, and just received them last week. I found a brand new Legacy Megazord on eBay last night for $138 in the states, and decided I would buy it in the morning. But it got sold when I woke up. I was pretty bummed this morning, but luckily I found another new one right now in the states for $140.

I wish you could find it for less... I'm don't have any directions to point you in though. Have you check eBay, Amazon, BigBadToyStore, etc? Ultimately it's up to you. How much do you want it? It's a very nice piece to have. If you're a serious collector and/or just really love Mighty Morphin, you should certainly have that.

I bought a Legacy Megazord on Ebay for $138, but it's being shipped from the Philippines. It seems to be almost impossible to find it anywhere for less. I wish I could have gotten it for less as well. But I got it just because the Dragonzord is going to be released soon. And yes, I've looked everywhere at this point. There are some sites selling them for upwards o $250+. Don't know if they've sold any, but that's what they are priced at.

If the box is important to you, you could try to return it and order one online. If you decide to do that, you should be certain they're in stock before returning.

Actually, the head of the zord is actually die cast metal! Though it's the only part on the zord that is metal, it's just hard to tell on video cause the head is painted white.

Image Anime is in New York, I live in California. I'm pretty sure their online prices are the same as their in store prices, but I can't say for sure. If you live in or near NY, it's worth visiting. If not, you could call or e-mail them to be sure.

That is one super sexy Megazord. It's been surprisingly easy to find at my local TRU and I keep seeing it but keep thinking "nah." I didn't like the 2010 version (thought it was too cartoonish in my book) but the metal and the better stickers/paint aps make this worth buying. And you're right about how you should buy now or pay more later. The Gigazord set has been at my TRU forever and when I was finally ready to get it last Saturday someone finally bought it. Had to pay way more for it on eBay

That's not a bad idea, but I would advise against anyone waiting to buy Megazord until Dragonzord is released. Look at the history of the show. Usually, Megazord #1 is first, then #2, by the time #3 or #4 is out, you can't find #1 anymore. Only a handful of times have they released a full set when the final Zord is released. Maybe it will happen, but don't count on it. That thinking probably resulted in BBB & VR Troopers not getting a full release (people waiting for full set & not buying vols)

Totally agree I hope to get the legacy megazord soon, I could never get the 93 ver when I was a kid, but for this review and all the others I've seen I think I can happily stay with the legacy ver, and get the 93 ver only if it I find it at a price not much higher that they usually go, since like you also prefer tv accuracy, the slickness and die cast features of this one a bit better.

I take it you're not subbed (or haven't seen many videos). Mia and I have our own company. We freelance for other companies, and we also work for RU-vid. In addition we do some promotional work for toy stores. We're also 110% broke while working nearly 130+ hours a week. You too can accumulate a nice collection over 20 years and be totally broke. :)

I've never had to be nasty to get my point across. When you can say things nicely and get your point across, people tend to take you more seriously and may be more willing to listen. Whenever I see RU-vid comments that are written in all caps with every other word misspelled and composed mainly of swear words, I dismiss the person as a ranting idiot. It's really hard to listen to what someone is saying when they're being nasty. It also causes the other person to become defensive. Just be nice.

Same thing happened to me, found a TRU near me with a Morpher, went to pick it up and the Megazord was just sitting there... I couldn't not get it. And that was when it still was gone from the online listing. Dang it. Forgot to say 'I want a Dragonzord' on the survey. ... Also, naming my single favorite season was the hardest question on the thing :/
