I’ve run Royal Purple power steering fluid in my 7th Generation Accord since it was brand new. The car is now 13 years old. Fluid changed every 30K. I also like Lubeguard products as well.
Too complicated… I just drain/refill a few times. System capacity is ~48oz, assuming reservoir capacity is ~24oz then one change replaces half. 1st = 50 new/50 old, 2nd = 75 new/25 old, 3rd = 87.5 new/12.5 old. I go for 2 or 3 d&f's, then monitor fluid color and condition to schedule service instead of following the manufacturers recommendations. (I'm also certified as a Professional Technician by ASE, and real experience is more valuable than guesses)
