Need to replace the power steering pump on your Mercedes Benz C230 2001-2007. If you have any further interest please visit www.2carpros.com *Disclaimer: Please use all safety precautions
This was on my Mom's car she drove it for 14 or 15 years. The only reason we had to get rid of it is because of a rear main leak. You take care of this car and it will definitely take car of you. Thanks for watching!
You need T60 for the belt, E12 for the steering pump, and T25 or T30 for the shield. But I highly recommend you buy a full socket set for E and T torx. They are not that expensive and you will need them on your Mercedes. You also need to remove the air intake if present and the muffler for the compressor. For that you need a screwdriver for the hose clamp and on the left of my left hand drive S203 there are two E12 bolts. It can come out without removing the belt which you can remove next. Cheers!
Sorry, the shield needs a T20 and the metal hose attached to the pump is fixed to a bracket near the alternator with an E10. There is also a need for new hose clamps as used in the video as the originals do not come off in my case.

Well, this will only help for a C230 Kompressor which was only produced from 2002 to 2005 in the coupé, the station and sedan only had this engine from 2004 to 2005. So these are more or less rare variants. From 2005 onwards it was V6 engine.
I bought a 2001 mercedes c320 and the battery was dead. After replacing the battery my car has hard steering is it possible it may need to be calibration or the pump is bad? No noise from the pump just hard steering. Thanks
