Oh i believe this documentary. My step grandpa was born in 1924, still healthy to this day 😇 anyway, he was born in the basement of the farmhouse his great grandparents built around 1880 or so, he can recall not getting electricity still he was around 12 or 13, around the mid to late 1930s because he recalls just a few years before ww2. And only because the farm house was about a mile and a half out of a small town that already had electricity. His other relatives did not get electricity until after ww2 around the late 1940s because they lived even farther out away from town. ☺ even though the light bulb had been around since 1879 and home electrification really took off around the early 1900s to the 1910s in many areas of the country, it was at first, a luxury equivalent to the latest iphones and Samsung Galaxy's. A luxury we now take for granted.
