Awesome edger left behind on a new property. I cannot believe nobody snagged this machine @ $60. Ha ha so now its free to me! Oil change and new pulsa jet carb kit for a grand total of under $5. I love it when this happens! I googled Power Trim edgers and they make 5 different models with either Briggs or Honda engines and are wicked high dollar. I think most landscapers around here just lay their string trimmers sideways and do it that way. Enjoy the movie! Follow Dave Ackerman!

Hey, the newer, and much better condition, version of mine! That's a cool thing about Power Trim, they haven't changed their design in literately decades. Just updated the engine choices. Nice score!

Yes I do love when they idle down nice like this one. Nice edger you'll have to let me know if it sells. I've had several that wouldn't sell so I put the engines on Roto tillers and stuff like that. This one looks like new and now it runs like new. Thanks for the shout

NOT recommended to idle down a splash lube engine. These are NOT CAR ENGINES PEOPLE. Rev them to 3200 and you will be fine.

You won't think you got such a deal when you go to repair a pulsa jet. Worst thing Briggs and Stratton could have done to an engine as far as maintenance.

@@ZombieDaveAZ i just love it when you put the spring on the gas tank, get it all put together to find out the spring came off. A real joy to take out those manifold screws, one ridiculous to remove and insert. I couldn't understand why you used a diaphragm that didn't have the same screw holes as the original. Don't they make the original anymore? I had the same problem and am looking for the original.

Here we go again. THAT is a splash lubed engine. You are starving it of oil at 700rpm. Not recommended to idle down a splash lubed engine.

Curious as to where you get your info. Anything to back that up? Modern oil technology has come a long way. Low idle is still slinging oil.

@@ZombieDaveAZ Also these are air cooled and reach full temp in 1-2 minutes. It's not about slinging oil. It's about flywheel fan rpm to COOL the engine. These are NOT car engines. Briggs says max rpms for max durability.
