In this video on Power Virtual Agent chat bots with Microsoft Dataverse for Teams, we will explore building a Power Virtual Agent chat bot within Microsoft Teams and leverage Microsoft Dataverse for Teams. We will build upon our Help desk solution and add an intelligent chat bot that will provide the users status updates to their help desk tickets.

Dude, every video you publish is clear enough to show us how many possibilities project oakdale gives to us. I guess we can use other datasources in flow (like sharepoint), since Oakdale powerapps still have some limitations... Thank you, and keep it up!

Thank you Fernando. Yes, you can connect to any data source of your choice since at the end of the day its a Power App. You have access to the full feature set.

Something quite frustrating (at least, initially) is the change of the way of working for combobox and the total absence of dropdown controls. Considering now it's way easier to use relational tables (FINALLY) that's not a big issue. Something I would love to see in a video from you it's a way to massively download and upload data to and from a environment-dependent-CDS table. Not all app data should be entered one by one. I have had issues loading massive data to this simplified version of CDS. Is flow the only way to upload and download hundreds of records, massively? Once again, great video.

Really great video Reza When I publish my bot, the "Open the Bot" button is greyed out. I've done this couple of time and restarted Teams, still the same.

Once you share the bot and have the bot installed for your account, the Open the bot option will be enabled.

Great demonstration Reza !! We have a similar use care but we would like to integrate chat bots with Azure DevOps to create bugs/issues and view status of bugs created in ADO. Will that be possible ?

Yes, you can connect to ADO. PVA can call flow and flow in turn can use the ADO connector.

You mean the bot or Power App. Both are compatible with Teams mobile.

Only Office license. No additional licensing needed.

If Power Virtual Agent is not in the all apps section, does that mean our IT Admin need to allow the app in Teams?

Yes, they will need to ensure Teams App policies are not blocking it. Additionally, PVA is not available in GCC tenants.

Currently moving bots or flows or Apps in Oakdale are not supported. Will be supported in future.

Within Oakdale (Teams) PVA is part of your standard license. No premium license required.

That’s weird. It should not be the case. It’s default behavior of the authoring canvas for bots. Post your issue with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com

There surely is but I do not have a video reference on it. All you need to do is take inputs from user in bot, store them in variables in bot, then call flow from bot, send those variables to flow and create the item in SharePoint from flow.

It is an out of the box feature in Dataverse for Teams based bots. Not sure why it wont show in your case. Il recommend posting your issue with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com in case someone else has faced a similar issue

That is weird. Check all actions in flow that you get for the CDS connector. If you still don't find it, then post this issue with screenshots on the community forum at powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Power-Automate/bd-p/MPAForum

I'm not seeing my Bot in "Built for #MyTeamName". When I try to open the chatbot by clicking Open Chatbot in Power Virtual Agents (Preview) this message appears: "The app may not exist, or your organization may have disallowed you from using it". I In Teams Admin everything is allowed. Could you please help here?

Only thing I can think of is some Teams App policy that is blocking this. Try posting your query on the PVA forum - powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General/bd-p/pva_general

Not sure I understood the question. When building bots inside Dataverse for teams, you have the option to upload a bot image. I will also recommend you check on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com/
