It was a pleasure meeting you Preston and Brett. It was my first time at the park and I had a blast, looking forward to running into you when I’m out wheeling. Thanks for spotting me.
It was good to meet you out there Preston. Thanks for the video of my '04 #Touareg V8 with 4CAir (air susp), center and rear lockers. We had a lot of fun. I agree they need to change the name of some of those park roads to specific trail names with more difficulty ratings. That section up to Wildcat mountain was pretty advanced. Your spotting was helpful for us. Thanks. Without underbody protection I think I don't need to mess around with that section again. Well maybe once more. M tires are the stock size 255/55R18. I was using Falken Trail A/T tires which are also V speed rated. It is important to me to be able to keep the stock size so I can drive fast, low noise, great street handling and occasionally do a little trail driving. Also I have the stock spare (compact) so I need stock size tires since I am not making an overlander out of this TReg. It's just cool to know it can go a lot of places off-road & also cruise at 100mph +, and handle very car like.
@@TheNotSoOrdinaryCarGuy TFL guys did a great series involving the Touareg. Their playlist ¨Tough-T¨ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dS2vUaGthUo.htmlsi=KZFbK41HjTWxPdy8 Some great comparisons to LR3, Benz ML, Grand Cherokee. Buyers guide.
