Thanks for this video, Doug. The benefit I realize from using the general pump float valve is that water fills completely to the top of my tank, whereas with the other two valves, the water level is about 6-8 inches below the top of the tank(Hudson) and 3-4 inches below the top of the tank(Jobe).

A 5/16 Uniseal will work with the 1/4 hose also.

Doug, does the JOBE have to be installed on the side of the tank? Or can it be installed over the top like the HUDSON does?

Have you ever had trouble with the water in your tank breaking the float valve while driving around with a half tank/quarter tank/etc???

Doug - if you are running a 5gpm do you recommend using a 3/4” hose or 5/8” hose for your water hose supply ?
