Two-wire, or one-wire? That's a question when it comes to ordering a hose for your power washer.
After using both off and on since 2011, I've happily settled on 1-wire. I talk a little about that in this video.
Here's a good 1-wire hose which I've been happy with in the past:

I'm back to 2 wire hose. Single wire was not durable enough. For what I put them through.

Yeah it seems like everyone sort of develops their own preference after a while.

I use double braided due to mainly using 5000 psi. I’ve had it burst on my inner thigh near the jewels and hurt so much that I dropped to the ground from the pain. I was severely bruised. They only last 6 months with that kind of pressure and abuse. But the hoses I use for down streaming and soft wash last a year or two.

how often do you think this happens? what about the chemicals? Which damage the hoses?

For me, this only happens every 2000 hours or so. I run water through my power washer hoses. It stands Theresa that anything caustic (sodium hypochlorite. ..) would accelerate their demise by causing corrosion on things that aren’t meant to handle caustic chemicals.
