A video on how the powerage exhausts sound.
Earphones/ headphones are recommended to get the optimum feel.
This is with the baffles on, I don’t recommend riding without the baffles. It may sound good for a short period but after that you tend to get annoyed by the sound. Baffles make the sound so much more better and bassy.
Also, these exhausts don’t get hot at all. They just get warm. So there’s no chance of burning your leg. But I would still recommend you wear good riding gear while riding the motorcycle.
I’v used a GoPro and an Insta360OneX2. And for recording the sound, I’m using my iPhone 7 Plus.
I hope you like it. I will make a fly by sound video as well of these exhausts.

Hey Sri, I have been hanging around your RU-vid space since the last few weeks and I must say that you have pretty good content man! Also I am planning to get myself a bike (INT650 vs meteor) and had a quick question - how does the interceptor feel in the city? Does it get frustrating to keep shuffling between 2nd and 3rd gears?

It doesn’t frustrate me to keep shuffling between 2 and 3 gears. You’re talking about riding in traffic jams. Just keep the clutch lubricated and it’s a breeze to ride this motorcycle. I suggest you take the bike for a test run. For Atleast 15-20 kilometres, get the feel of how the machine performs in optimum conditions and then make a decision. :) If you decide on INT650, then might want to invest in a premium touring seat. Else it will be a BUMmer. 😉😜

These pipes are meant for both GT and Interceptor 650. And FYI, they can even fit Shotgun and super meteor 650!

It gets slightly better. But depends heavily on how you ride it. If you constantly do vroom vroom it will dip, if you keep it under 50, it will rise.

Bike sounds nice, looking for some new exhausts and these have a decent sound. It's clever how those cameras on poles are able to delete the pole so it looks like camera isn't attached to the bike.

Yep. These are with db killers. My mic is pretty strong. :) so if you think these are too loud, you’d be mistaken. Haha

Thanks Srinivas. Was expecting this video. Wanted to see such a video before buying the powerage exhausts! Convinced :-) But it doesn't pop or crackle while decelerating? My stocks ones do that and I love it!

hahaha that is a sign of unburnt fuel escaping the exhaust. Which is not a good thing. 😜 They don't pop or crackle while decelerating. Yet. As I have read that they tend to do that. Thank you so much for watching the video! :)

@@27adhav interesting! But I’ve actually heard a BS4 interceptor, stock exhaust. It is much better and rumbly than a BS6 one. (All stock no modification).

I love them. They are more secure with the handle bar I am using. But are also compatible with the oem ones. Check my video on installation on the oem ones

I'm trying to install the Himalayan adv handlebar on my Int 650.....but the RE adviser told me that it will not fit with the stock clutch and accelerator cable setup. Can you guide me how did you fix it on your 650?

What I did was, went to a showroom which had the himalayan handlebar. And told the showroom technician to fit it. And he did. He didn’t adjust any wires or anything. It’s direct fit.

Those are Powerage exhausts. And they aren’t very loud and are very light.

Sri, I bought these exhausts after your suggestions and I totally love it.. Although I have a small question, after I removed the baffles and reinserted them, the sound is not the same, that classic 'PHAt-PHAT' sound has become more bassy. Can you please help me solve this?@@SrinivasGanesh

Yes. They were on. I have never taken them out. Even for a video. They are too loud without the baffles. And I don’t really want to disturb the neighbours. Lol
