You are my hero. Approached worked efficiently. I wish I found your video earlier rather than those using flows or first getting IDs with the Set function and then patching an empty form with LookUp and Form.Updates.
Hey, yes this is possible with Power Automate, if you patch all of the attachments from the app, you can use the "Get Attachments" step in flow to get all attachments. Then you can do an Apply to each on the attachments and create a SharePoint item for each
hii i would like to ask if i got few more details for example, column A - name, Column B - age, column C - gender (dropdown list) and after that attachment, how would it be for the coding?
Hey Amy, Yes to patch that data and the attachment you would use something like this: Patch( 'test list', Defaults('test list'), { Name: "Test Patch", Age: 25, Gender: "Male" }, Form1.Updates );
Thanks for your video I watched it but my scenario is I am using Dataverse Table and I am saving my attachments to Notes table and Moving those Attachments to SP Document library and then Deleting that row of Notes table after saving to SP and I am also saving a GUID of my Dataverse table to my SP Library Column. for reference. Now, I want to show that SharePoint library file onto my Attachment Control in edit form which is connected to Attachments of Dataverse Table (which is NOT a File Field) its from Enable Notes and Files.. any help pleaese?
hoi hoi this is reallygworking most of the times one Part of my Powerapps takes Information in another sp-list and then it doesnt work anymore any help?
Hey Yin, thanks for the comment. I will need to take a look at this. Is ot possible you can send an email to admin@wetechcareofyou.com and we can schedule a call?
Hey jen b, thankyou for the comment. If you want to add attachments to an existing item, instead of Defaults in your patch you need to Lookup the record, then patching the form.updates will simply add the attachments keeping existing attachments. I made this change to the app shown in the video and changed the code of the "Patch Attachment" button to: Patch( 'test list', LookUp('test list', ID = 1), { Title: "TESTING Patch" }, Form1.Updates );
