People need to understand that ABS does not make you invincible on the bike. ABS, not always with the perk of reduction in stopping distance, is just a way to enable steerability even while you are going hard on brakes.

Hello Shumi, Can you give tips on how to ride in the dark? The high beams coming from the opposite side makes it difficult to ride on roads with bad patches and with people trying to overtake you from different directions makes it more harder. I have a LS2 mx series helmet and the visor tends to reflect the light more so I have to ride with the visor open and that's compromising the safety. Any tips to fix it?

Try wearing a transparent glass with no power. It's better to ride slow and steady in the dark. With respect to lights , Slow down the vehicle to some extent and try moving to an empty side of the road and hold your bike at a speed that can be controlled. In the worst case scenario , stop for a while and then continue. I too own one LS2 with transparent visor. This is what I do in most of the cases. Cheems 🤝

When I got the xpulse I was not aware of abs pulsing ...... In a emergency situation when I FIRST TIME felt the pulsing I released the front break and grabbed it again ....... Because of which weight transfer was going back and forth ...... And I droped the bike ....... LUCKY till the drop I had reduced alot of speed and bike got some minor scratches...........FOR NEW RIDERS PLEASE TAKE THE FELLING OF ABS AFTER GETTING FIRST BIKE IN A PARKING LOT OR ABANDONED ROAD 🙏🙏........ BE PREPARED IN EMERGENCY SITUATION

make video on chain maintainance. can we use kerosene, petrol or diesel for chain cleaning and is lube oil or gear oil is good option for chain lubrication ? as many of us can't afford such expensive chain cleaner and lubricant.

I think Powerdrift should start a proper driving school whether it's a 2 wheeler or 4 wheeler for people who love to ride. Or atleast they should take yearly workshops or make a collaboration with others for such event where some basics skills n knowledge is shared. And I damm sure people will enroll for it. I don't think there are such type of driving schools in India as other counties do have. As always great n simple explanation of the topic by Shumi guruji. 👌👌

Not much, You can always control rear wheel lockup. But it's a cherry on cake if you can get Dual channel abs. If you have the option to buy dual channel abs then go for it but if it doesn't then there is no need to wait for the company to launch dual channel abs version

Hey, I'd a doubt not sure if you've the time to answer it. If I ride a single channel abs bike, and apply both brakes simultaneously, and rear wheel locks/skids, does it have the same impact as front wheel locking or slightly less or much less? (Sorry for my use of such adverbs). Just wanted to know how deadly/safe single vs dual abs are.

ABS is a Blackbox (compute intelligences) that allows rear wheel to not lock up and save Motorbikes from drifting against the will of the rider. This is bound to increase the stopping distances.. but how every Motorbike journo puts efforts to emphasize on how the stopping distances are reduced per every revision of the same bike. Sounds very counter intuitive.. could Shumi or someone from PD plz explain ?

Friends, do not ever use a magnet to pitch the ABS sensor, coz an untaught mechanic once did the same thing with my CBR250r and then the ABS on my bike started misbehaving....finally they hired a mechanic who used to work on "Fireblade" to fix this issue(it was somewhere around 2013 when we were new to this technology)

If 80-90% front brake is used (primarily a city ride), then does that mean that a Single Channel ABS is more than enough for a rider's safety?

Sir please tell me, whats the reason must be. Whenever i had a sudden, emergency brake in my single channel abs, bike, wether in around 40, 20, 15 kml the rear wheel always skid, and shake me to left and right. Though the abs is functioning well, as shown in the meter console. Can it be due to more pressure given on the rear brake? Have changed the rear tyre, with other brand, thinking that this might be due to tyre. But still its the same, and now i'am scared of hard braking. So am confused. Please hlep me sir.

Hi, please respond. I have issue with rr310 brake sensor, with the very light touch to the brake paddle, it turns on the tail light. While riding, It looks like i am continuously applied brakes. Many times my friends told me this. I asked service center guys to fix they told it is built like this only. Please let me know if there is a fix or it is what it is.

Firstly, thanks a ton to simplify entire ABS mechanism. This was a great deal of learning to be honest. I rode scooters before but have got rtr 200 bs6 which is dual channel abs so I could really relate the pulsating thing you said. Awsome video and am sure am gonna check the one on breaking too. Great job Shumi 😊

i got a himaliyan It has the worst breaks I mean really very bad no feed back at all and abs is shitty it won’t let me apply the breaks and the bite is just creepy I have a another bike r15 v3 it has one of the great breaks

I wish all 2 wheelers above 100cc get atleast single channel abs as standards and all 150cc+ should get dual channel abs as in our country weather and people change their way from moment to moment, not to mention road conditions.

Yes he’s right about hard braking on bikes. Even if we have abs hard braking will lock the wheels. Braking must be done skill fully

PD should make a video on the engine oil additived added to bikes these days in service stations. Isnt engine oil enough for the bikes, if not then why they not add additives to the engine oil themselves rather than buying seperately. Is it really necessary to add these additives.
