This is a PTO powered roller/crimper designed for use with a walk behind tractor. In contrast to traditional roller/crimper designs that utilize the weight of the rollers to apply pressure to the cover crops through crimping bars, this design used PTO power. Energy stored in the compressed springs allow the crimping bar to be raised and dropped on the cover crop to inflict damage points.
