I wish I knew about this a long time ago.

We have a small tool - Dynello Spaceball. Its a rubber ball you throw first and then pull the strap through/over. Its a tedious process, but still better than crawling up and down. Link to item: dynello.com/products/dynello-spaceball/ Otherwise you can make one yourself. You basically just need a 7-9m cord and some kind of heavy block, preferably something that doesn't do any damage on the other side . Dynello Spaceball is smart because you can roll up the cord on the ball. /Jens, Dynello

Hi John, we have some new products on its way for throwing straps in these situations. They are already in production, so hopefully we can introduce them very soon! It is clear that this method needs practice, if you want to throw with laser-precision, but its not impossible to throw through tight spaces in a tautliner. But the method works best for high/open truckloads. I will personally make a sling, grab whole sling in one hand (like grabbing around the carry-handles of a shopping bag) and throw it frontwise over the paper reel. The small sling creates some momentum, and you won't stress your shoulders the same way as the traditional way of throwing.
