Good afternoon, believe it or not. I actually found this device today! But no remote. Where can ni find a remote for it? And would you recommend buying a keyboard & mouse too? I have a note 10+ and I've been looking to get back into the kodi movie resource. So please, any info and or tips I'd really appreciate it! Excellent video BTW! Thank you so much!
Hey Craig - great device you've found! Getting mouse and keyboard as a start is a good idea. As for Kodi - I am not going to be of much help as I don't use it a lot.
Thanks Adil! I have stopped doing reviews of RC gadgets because I wanted to slimline the variety of content here. Will soon publish a video for Mavic Air 2 if that counts.
I could not read the writing on the side menu even though I tried different picture resolution settings. Also it kept losing contact with the internet even though the signal strength was showing excellent. After spending most of the day trying to make I work I gave up & set it back. Have any comments.
Key Kenneth, sorry to hear about your issues. I've noticed that some TV boxes don't come along well with WEP wireless encryption. As for writing and typing - better get yourself a nice air mouse with keyboard option.
@@TechMishka to tell the truth there's not really anything I don't like like or dislike personally. I'm mainly going by it's popularity. I did think about what I should get for a few weeks. I have seen in reviews were about three different people who had issues with the WiFi not working after a while but I'm gambling anyway hope it was just a software issue. I can't remember his name but they have a elderly man he looked about in his 50s he was loading a different operating systems into his. Mine quits I can try the same thing. I should have ordered the box you reviewed but I can always send mine back.
Both are really nice powerful devices. Depends on your needs and what you are looking for. Everybody complains about the price of the Shield, but the other decent boxes are just as pricey. So pick your choice.
@@marioalfeucarvalho6133 Totally up to you. They both very nice with the same minuses. They both don't support 4k for Prime or Netflix. Other than that either one could do any job.
This minix box was capable of 64-bit but the autoloaded Android 9 was 32-bit unfortunately. This has the consequence that if you attach external USB HDD you are limited to only 2TB and not more.
@@TechMishka Be sure to check Odroid's site...they have pretty nice SBC-s. And you can basically use Linux Andoid ...various distos ...big versatility.
