We are so fortunate to live in such a great county. We came across this powerful Veterans Day video online and wanted to share it. This video was not produced by ConEquip Parts. . Call 716-246-0030
At ConEquip Parts, we have many different people from many different backgrounds. We are far from perfect, and we will never claim to be. Some of our employees attend church on a regular basis, some don't attend church at all. Some of us voted for Trump, others voted for Biden, while still others didn't vote at all. Some of our employees hunt, while some of our employees could never hurt a living thing. Our employees are black, white, latino, and come from many different parts of the world. We have different interests, different ideals, and stand for different causes. But one thing we all have in common is that we are all Americans, and respect each other regardless of our differences. We live this life knowing it would not be possible without the sacrifice of our men and women in the military. We pray to God we never lose sight of that, and pray you always love this great country, our amazing God, and your fellow man forever. God bless.
@@debrakelly4505 Thank You Ma'am. For being the patriot in the classroom. Soo many children today are growing up in a world of confusion and sorrow, it's a solemn reminder to them that the American Veteran will, and have gone to war for the ideals of this great nation. To stand strong in the face of adversity, to support freedom, democracy, and liberty for all. God bless you and may God bless these United States of America along with all my brothers and sisters of the Armed Forces.
I was at a local rodeo this summer with my 82 year old father, at the end of the events he needed to use the rest room. I pushed him in his wheel chair to the back of a very long line. A gentleman in front of us turned, looked down at my father and noticed his veterans hat that he proudly wore. With a load voice the gentleman said we have a veteran here at the back of the line. At that moment every man and boy moved aside and had us move up all the way to the urinal. Thank you, to all who have served and God bless you.
That was at a rodeo. Sadly, that wouldn’t happen in most places. I’m a veteran who’s now disabled and believe me, most under 45 yrs old could t care less about our military service. I wish every American, kids included, would watch video from yesterday of civilians in Kherson, Ukrainian civilians, liberated by their military,in the past 24 hours.
I was at an intersection waiting for the light to change when a little old women behind my truck exited her car and approched my window and asked me if she could hug me. I said sure and I hugged her in return. She said that she read my persian gulf veteran plates and wanted to thank me for serving. I told her that it is an honour to serve her. She cried and told me that her husband died serving. I held her until the light changed and told her that she is the reason why I serve and protect. As I drove away, my teen granddaughter held my hand and thanked me for my service. One of my favourite moments.
I am VERY glad you had that experience. I served from 1969 until 1989 and - although I did not recognize it in my first years on active duty - my military service vastly improved my life and it also solidified values and integrity that will forever serve me well. With that said, returning to ConUS in late-1971 was FAR from a welcoming experience; many Americans idiotically focused their hatred of our Vietnam War policies on we kids - in our teens and early twenties - who had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with policy decisions. We simply were the guys who sacrificed, while the “decision making heavy hitters” (such as LBJ and McNamara) lived lives of opulence. For some years in the 1960’s, 1970’s, and even the early 1980’s, those of us in uniform were largely ignored - and sometimes disdained and derided - by most Americans. The Vietnam Veterans of America’s motto is “Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another.” I am exceptionally pleased that the many brave, sacrificial and patriotic men and women who have served in the all-volunteer military are receiving the recognition and the appreciation they have earned.
As a Soldier, I served proud with so much love for my country and country's people. As a Veteran, I miss serving my country, and would do it all over again in a heartbeat 🇺🇸
I am totally in agreement with you. I am a retired 30 year veteran of the Marine Corps and I would love to have the opportunity to serve every day again. Joined in 1970 and retired 21 years ago.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
My father was a veteran of WW 11. He served as a Marine in what was known as the Pacific Theater. He said it was an honor and a privilege to fight for his country. He always said how lucky he was to come home when so many others died. He taught my brothers and I to be patriotic and to love our country. He died in 2007 at the age of 84. To all veterans living and deceased-- I thank you, I salute you, and I HONOR you. God Bless America.
As an immigrant now a citizen, I want to take this opportunity to thank all the veterans who have served this country, May God continues to bless each and everyone of you. May God bless America.
This is truly incredible. I went to Iraq in 2004 and was in the hotspots. My RU-vid profile picture is probably one of my favorite photos of myself. I did that stuff for a very long time. I lost a friend and when I came home it ended me. Once I came home and hugged my mom it really hit me that Jones was gone. I went through those very dark times for a long time but a little over two years ago I met a woman. I was a homeless alcoholic but she saw something. Now I’ve been sober for over a year. We bought a house and got married the next day. She reminded me that God has been there this whole time. He’s felt my pain and has been desperately wanting to bring me peace. Once I realized that I became one with him and am now good to go.

There are times we want to forget, Like when troubles and sadness we've met, But this day in November We'll always remember The heroes to whom we're in debt. They were young, full of life and ambition, But some dreams never reached their fruition. With their lives put on hold, They were daring and bold And accomplished their ultimate mission. Most returned when the battle had ended, Some with wounds that would never be mended. Many others did not, Having died where they fought While ensuring our home was defended. But in spirit they'll always be here. To our hearts they will always be near. While our eyes may be wet, We will never forget. Let's remember each day of the year. War is with us again on this day. We have daughters and sons in the fray, So let's wish them Godspeed And the wisdom we'll need So they'll never again go away.
RIP to all of the fallen men and women who died protecting the things we love and the land that we stand on. God bless all of you, we are eternally grateful. 🇺🇸
Important to not forget Veteran's day is to honor those who have served and are currently serving. If you are still active duty, you are a Veteran, a Veteran of yesterday. Always thank a Vet, prior and active duty service. Semper Paratus 🇺🇲
I don't mind people thanking me for my service, but I don't like being referred to as a hero for serving my country. I am no hero. Like thousands of others, I just did my duty. The true heroes are buried in military cemeteries across the world. USMC 1969-1971
Thank you for this video. I actually made that oath when I was 14 years old. I was shocked I had just gotten my work permit and got a job at the NCO club on the base. I lived right outside the base and on my first day of work they told me if I was going to work on the base I had to take the oath I got to take the oath right next to a bunch of soldiers I was almost in tears I was so proud and even that young I took it seriously and still do when I got home and told my family they also made sure I understood that. God bless the United States of America..
Rest in Heavenly peace to my Grandpa Loren Hamilton who passed last night. ❤️🕊️🙏🏻 He was a United States veteran who was stationed in Greenland. Born: Sept. 20th 1931 Passing to the Lord: Dec. 6th 2022
My husband was a veteran during the Vietnam war and and even though he is gone now he will never suffer again. He passed away almost 4 years ago now from Parkinsons.
The 1 thumbs down needs to be beat down!!! God Bless all my brothers and sisters who serve and have served!! Thank you and God Bless you and.your families!! R.I.P to those who never make it home, thoughts and prayers to your families!!!
I AM SO PROUD OF EVERY VETERAN WHO HAS SERVED IN SO MANY WARS . PEOPLE NEEDS TO WAKE UP AND REALIZE HOW MUCH THEY HAVE ESPECIALLY SINCE SOME HAS NEVER CAME HOME . MAY GOD BLESS EVERY VETERAN.
Thank you for that. I have tears streaming down my face as I read many thankful comments here because we don’t hear that in society. We’re talked about like it’s our fault presidents sent us here and there. We’re not understood by most civilians and yet it’s critical for democracy to thrive. We are in danger, people, so VOTE for democracy and let’s rid our nation of the fascist tendencies of one cult of personality so we can get back to having two major political parties.
I want to again, thank all those who have served and remember all those who gave everything. We celebrate you and your selflessness, your honor, your courage and your love of your Country and millions of people you never met.
Thank You Veterans. Thinking of you on Veterans Day, and thanking you for all you did for our country. Those who live in freedom will always be grateful to those who helped preserve it.
Thank you all veterans and all the fallen, thank you for serving for our countries freedom and liberty, forever we will honor you. When I grow up im going to join the marines, whatever it takes to protect our freedom! Semper Fi
I'm an Active Duty Air Force veteran who served in OIF/OEF, and inherent resolve. I never seek recognition for my service just like most of my brothers and sisters who served, but for one day, let's all crack a beer and yell at the sky to let everyone know that we are still here and still just as proud! HOOAH!
I served throughout the bloodiest years of Vietnam and a few more. I am so very grateful to have had the privilege of serving my nation and would do it again in a heartbeat. I am also blessed to have come from a military family.
Thank you for your service! As a fellow Air Force veteran and former Army commander, I want you to know that my extended family and I all appreciate you every day! Also, my sisterC brother and sister have a combined 80 years of service! We appreciate each other and all our fellow military brothers and sisters EVERY DAY. Never forget that.
@@rosaleeadams1160 Thank you and yours for your service, and I could never imagine the absolute hell of returning from Vietnam only to be treated the way you all were. I remove my cover to you!
How in the world could people in this country in the 1970s could treat these soldiers coming home so poorly. May God have mercy on your souls. I'm afraid this will happen again.
YES THANK YOU THE PEOPLE WHO KEPT US WHERE WE LIVE TODAY YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW WE ALL COME TOGETHER AS ONE YES THANK ALL OF YOU WITH THAT WE SAY AGAIN THANK YOU THANK YOU....ROBBIE PHILADELPHIA PA FISHTOWN
Thank all Service Warriors in all Conficts of so many years. Living and those who have perished for our protection, love of family and Country. God bless you all. 😘🌹 ♥️🇺🇸💙. Amen
This video says it all. To say thank you doesn't seem enough, but it's a start. Thank you and God bless our Veterans last and present and our Active Military, present and future. Thanks and blessings to their loved ones.
Unfortunately, we don't get any recognition over here. Maybe we're just not as patriotic, but I dearly love my country, and have no regrets about serving her. Volunteers only here, but ñonetheless, still proud of our service
So at school, I was of 11 people in a Veterans Day committee, we were serving food, drinks, set up 52 tables, 300 chairs in 2 hours, we ran low on gumbo(i don’t know if you know what that is) and people were calling us terrible words for slow service, we were supposed to have 25, not caring about the work we put in they called us, racist, complaining and getting angry, it hurt as I wanted to serve them and ended up hurt. We finished and one guy said thank you, one veteran, it made it worth it. I know this means little but I needed to get it off my chest(god bless America)
As a veteran, I know for a fact, that if the time of war ever threatens our borders and families, we will gladly throw down our lives to protect those that we love.
Thank You for posting this very powerful clip 🙏 ❤ 🙌 even though I'm not a American Every Man Woman and Child must watch this clip who are in the Free World 🌎
I agree and Americans, if you’ve forgotten what freedom means or never knew, watch liberated civilians in video from the last 24 hours in Kherson, Ukraine. How much do you think THEY appreciate their military and veterans?
America is the greatest nation on earth where freedom, opportunity, prosperity and our civil society can flourish. We owe a gratitude of thanks to the brave men, women and their families who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Teach you children well.
My prayer to my grandfather GRANDPA NO MATTER HOW MANY MOUNTAINS I HAVE TO CLIMB I WILL MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR HONORS AND MILITARY RIGHTS THAT YOU DESERVED SERVING OUR COUNTRY I AM SO SORRY WHAT THE FAMILY DONE I PROMISE YOU I WILL MAKE THIS RIGHT YOUR LOVING Grandson GARY
IN 1979 I PROUDLY TOOK THIS OATH TO PROTECT MY COUNTRY WITH MY LIFE. AND TOO THIS DAY I WILL DO EXACTLY THAT HOORAH. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND THE GREATEST MILITARY IN THE WORLD.
Thank you to all my brothers and sisters who have served and that are serving now . To all my heroes who never made it back I love all of you I appreciate all of you and your families. Navy Corpsman 58/64 I now tell everyone to pay attention in training because one morning at USNH BREMERTON a cabbie ran in saying he had a lady having a baby. My self and another Doc assisted with the birth. Only saw this procedure in a movie but didn't forget.

No shipmate will I ever forget. My buddies who bravely served in River Division 572. We were so young. Burned into my mind is the image of our flag flapping and my heart filled with pride as we patrolled the Mekong Delta rivers. Our Democracy. Fought for and loved with the blood of the men I call brothers. 1/6/21 a day in infamy. I will never forget those that trampled on our House. Used my flag to attack Democracy. As a Veteran, I love my country. As an American, I will fight for my Democracy.
To all those who have served, and all first responders, medical personnel, and firefighters past, present and future, we thank you on this veteran's day.
Thank you to all who served and is serving in ALL branches of the United States of America military. You are loved and appreciated more than you will ever know!
As a Veteran, I can do no less than to express my heartfelt thanks to those Americans who finally understood that a military man or woman follows legitimate military orders, without questioning the political motives or consequences of those orders. We do what our country orders us to do. As simple as that! Vietnam was not our war; it was our country's war.
I am the son of a deceased WWII veteran and the baby brother of a deceased Vietnam War veteran. This video is well done. Thank you so much and God bless.
Advice of the Day: Let’s take a minute to honor the lives of the brave Women and Men who sacrifice their lives to protect all of us. Happy Veterans Day. We should always honor these Veterans. Be proud to be an American 🇺🇸.
I want to thank all of my fellow service Brothers & Sisters. I served in the marines as a Navy Corpsman During operation Desert Shield/Desert storm. and my daughter who is serving in the United States Navy.
