Back when this song came out I was going through chemo as a teen and was so uncomfortable going out in public while I was losing my hair and had a in-line on one of my arms...so when he'd said " I don't want the world to see me, because I don't think they'd understand " hit me alot back then
It was also the first time I heard it and I can say that it is fantastic, from the low tone to the amazing falsetto.thanks for shared and for another great reaction Aileen take care 🙂👍
Some of my favorite reactions are the ones where you point out how amazing their voice are in the title/thumbnail cause it hypes me up that much for your reaction 😭Can’t wait to watch it later once work is done!!
"Iris" has one of the most beautiful and haunting melodies ever created. And I find that John Rzeznik sung it correctly in a way to serve the song. Cakra Khan overdid it here.
Maybe it's not your preference, but he just used his own voice on it. He has a vocal identity, you can't expect him to not sound like himself. I liked it, was a more epic version and the high stuff was great.
@@Zepherian I beg your pardon, but I think he has no vocal identity all by trying to put all and every common style into a single song. To me, that's what most of all musical singers do all the time. He has good singing techniques - but he`s got no soul in his voice. But this is just my 5 cents.
yeah I get why people think this is a great cover, and love his voice. But it's really not good at all. All the attempt at emotion and none of the actual emotion here.
@@thomasmeyer8798 The whole emotional connection trip is subjective. Some people connect with some artists. I could feel the emotions he was transmitting in this song and in no way did he seem, to me, to be just technically faking it. But to each their own, it's all about frequency and connection and humans are not all on the same wavelength.
I think Cakra has one of the best voices in the world when it comes to the lows, super super good, he makes songs special, his voice is the best thing about him and super likeable
Wow... Wow... In the first reaction of Tennessee Whiskey the subs is 241 K.. & now the 3rd reaction The Go Go Dols already 256 K subs... Incredible... congratulations 👍🏅👏
What is that sound? This sound is beyond our ordinary world, beyond the music we are accustomed to. Generally beyond the music that we expect to hear in films. According to the director of this film, Denis Villeneuve, Hans Zimmer worked on this music for several months - a very long time for such a project. He searched for and created these unusual sounds, trying to go beyond the boundaries of what he could do and was used to doing. As we understand it, he succeeded. We heard music here that is not only extraterrestrial, but also timeless. Something similar could probably have sounded ten thousand years ago. Or maybe this is what our future will sound like. There are very few artists capable of producing such sounds. It's not just vocal capabilities and good technique - it's a completely different aesthetics, a different psychology, a different physiology. The artist must not only accurately hit the notes of this strange score - he must, first of all, be convincing. He should sound as if these sounds are not exotic to him at all - but a natural part of his nature. It should sound organic, it should sound beautiful at the same time - and dangerous, alarming, warning. In this case, that's exactly what it sounds like. Whether you like this sound or not, no one doubts that this sound is the most real. That this is not a sophisticated computer design - but a living timbre, living emotions, living energy of the human voice. Voices of the strange, unusual, unexpected. A voice that reminds us at the same time of the sounds of wild nature; and about the sounds of the beautiful singing voices of the past; and about the sounds of some other world, some universe unknown to us - sounds the existence of which we can only guess. All these amazing sounds are contained in the artist we see on this stage - Diana Ankudinova. We could, of course, guess some of what we heard here, remembering her performances on other shows. But we heard a lot of things for the first time - and being always ready to be surprised, nevertheless, we were once again very surprised. Do all these people who helped her create these bizarre sound images understand that they heard from her only a small part of what she is really capable of?.. Mikhail Oplesnin I just read this comment under the video of Diana’s performance at the Art of Hans Zimmer show - soundtrack to the film Dune. We look forward to your reaction to this fantastic performance. I'm looking forward to the release of the second Dune film, which Hollywood has postponed to March 2024.
