2002, the Brisbane Lions at their peak, Channel 10 broadcasting the footy. I don't think you can beat that moment in time in AFL history. The footy had all its hardness from the previous era and the Lions showcased a gamestyle of fast exciting modern footy of the future. Meanwhile Channel 10 brought us the best version of a broadcast still to this day! Anthony Hudson, Stephen Quartermain etc, not to mention Channel 9's coverage, they had the best on field mics of all time, the sounds of the game have been lost today. Really, nothing can beat this era of AFL football.

Should've uploaded their 20 wins in a row from Round 10 2001 to Round 4 2002. They played some of the finest football that any team has ever played in those 20 wins

@@codeword632 Cats of 2007 to 2011 couldn't even go back to back. Pies of the 1920s won a 4peat in a tiny competition and won 2 of those flags via the bullshit minor premiers challenge rule. Lions easily the greatest imo

Voss ,black, lappin , Ashcroft, Ackermanis, Hart ! What a list 😮 combine that with brown and lynch in the forwards and mal Michael Scott brothers in the back. Too good

Even as a fan of this Lions this isn’t are year in 2019 The team just doesn’t have that killer instinct that this site had and that’s important don’t get me wrong I’m having so much fun and I don’t want it to end but I want to keep having some fun so no premiership I think but I’m gonna have some fun in September at least
