Great question. By a dynamic chart placeholder, do you mean create a pre-set chart template with formulas that someone would just punch their numbers into? You can set up a Chart Placeholder so that someone can only insert a chart, but the slide master does not allow you to set up a dynamic range behind the placeholder. You can use Chart Templates to quickly apply all your chart formatting, but it will also not force formulas into the Excel spreadsheet behind the chart. For dynamic charts, you will have to insert the chart first, and then set up the dynamic ranges within the XLS spreadsheet. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you. If I misunderstood your question, let me know.
Thanks! Do you know how to place an "working" animation on a shape in the master slide combined with an image behind it? So that the shape stays above the image that I made transparant> and after that will work in the normal view?
Hi Lillian! Do you mean that when you put an object on top of a picture placeholder in the Slide Master, and then go to the Normal View and insert a picture into the placeholder, that the object gets sent to the back? Yes, that's a problem that you can't really go around it because anything that's not a placeholder on the Slide Master is considered part of the background. Hope that helps or let me know if I misunderstood your question.
If you missed what Content Placeholder abuse looks like in the Normal View (and how to use your list level shortcuts), you can check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hw4oQkJRHNQ.html
