I wish i could own a size 42, 3×125mm inline speed skate for the first time in my life. Because , I always dream to use a 3×125mm inline speed skate to become one of the best skater in my country GHANA, like you are RICARDO LINO. And to be able to skate very fast, and to practice some of the things you teach online. And because of the teachings you teach online, which i understand. I made you RICARDO LINO my ROLEMODEL. I had problems with PS Next as well and I was also unsatisfied with its build quality. So I can believe that at the level of the Evo Pro's price one can find better boots. However. This video sounded like an ad for Micro. Micro is not THE alternative if PS fails for some reason for a certain skater. I understand that this is business, Mr Lino sells Micro skates. Fine. But it would worth mentioning a couple of other brands instead of PS and apart from Micro. Let's say Seba. FR skates. Or maybe Tempish. Micro is good if you are small. I have friends with bigger foot than the biggest Micro skate even if they are average in height. If you are tall than Micro can be forgotten (and tall means 180, which is nowadays not really tall at all). I do appreciate and respect the work and reviews of Mr Lino, and I love that we could hear about the disadvantages of such an expensive skate as the PS Evo Pro. I just wanted to add that a "skate shootout" (a comparison of different brands in the same style) would be good to see, but a "brand of my shop" vs. "any other brands" seems a bit biased. One should include all the related models, even if the brands included do not pay for it and it that case one would start to believe that the review was fair and objective. Otherwise... well not as convincing. (Please do not take this as an offense, Mr Lino. It meant to be a constructive remark, but if I'm wrong, please ignore it.)

Great skating, lovely seaside scenery and an honest first impressions video on an interesting skate. Funny to hear the button on the 45 degree buckle is that loose now. On the previous model I'm always afraid of breaking my finger while trying to open it :D

You look good skating those. I will say that it seems the "loose cuff" issue you describe seems to be common in many powerslide boots. I had that issue with the Next's, and the stock myfit liner, and see many other reviewers commenting about it with the Next's, Aeons, and Evos. Maybe the ankles of the people who they design their boots around have thick ankles and huge calfs? haha

Haha, I also love my micro delta f. That snug feeling you mention is stunning and no need to even heatmold them. I finally found the ideal boots for me and specially the joy of pain free sessions!! Also good to know I can change the liner if I need to. Powerslide freeskate boots are too narrow for my ankles so the hc EVOs could be a solution, but most of my frames are not trinity...

I'm super hyped about these new IQON frames. But it needs to be said that it is yet another sub brand for Powerslide. I don't know why they hide this fact.? It's stated on their website, but you have to look for it.

The Powerslide Evo Trinity Pro is such a great boot and skate. The only completion is Adapt GT, which is so expensive. I love trinity mount and all of the frame and where options! I also love the PS trinity ice blade. The NN Skate Co. Dragon frame is awesome on the Evo Pro.

Maybe it's good idea, to try to fill empty spaces that creates in cuff area with self adhesive neoprene foam (neoprene in powerslide footies style but it have adhesive tape on one side) ? Foam comes in few thickness and probably different densities, so one can try to experiment and adjust fitting to your liking by adhering it to inner side of cuff plastic. I know from snowboarder forum in my country that people experiment with foams to make "donuts" and other type of ankle anchors and put it between inner and outer part of snowboard boot when they start to have too much of ankle play. So 1+1 is 2 and that idea came to my mind :)

nice intro. made me laugh. thanks for that. btw: nice video! :) I ordered the skates with 3x 110mm. So far I have always skated hockey skates with 4x80. I am very curious to see how they will ride. I wouldn't be surprised if I now order another track with 4 wheels because of your video. :D

I have the same skates with 3 weels , they are realy fun.

The buckle on my next boot also has that issue. A number of times I either felt or heard my buckle loosen. The last time it happened I was on my way down a hill and I heard it pop loose. Mild inconvenience considering how quickly we can tighten, but in a different scenario can be dangerous. Loose cuff; also feel the same with the next boot. It is also bulky and I often bump the skates near the top. Very annoying. So I am interested in a sleeker carbon boot, hence my watching this video. (also interested in disroyal frames).

But every time I admire the insta 360. It’s like the best for skating you get to worry less about positioning. Can’t wait to check them out after our lockdown

What an informative review! Thank you for what you do for the community and industry. Could you please tell me a bit about Next boots. Am i right that it's ankle support is enough for 80 or 90 wheels, but feels insufficient when it comes to really big wheels? For the city cruising I use my kind of dream setup for last 10 years - seba fr1 2007 boots with Powerslide double X 3x100 frame with some structural modifications to get 3x110 setup, so it is actually very low. Now we have trinity which also provides low chassis for fsk boots. I already tried twister edge boots and it's support is worse than old fr1 boots has at least for my legs. Thinking about switching to Next 3x110. What do you think?

I have finally used my new HC Evo Pro. I am very happy with them. But there is one detail, that before I bought them, I had already read about and I couldn't believe it was true. Micro adjustable Force ratchet buckle make noise and vibrate when the ground is not smooth. When it is just a little uneven this happens. I can't understand how with a top and reference model for PS this can happen.

Do you miss being able to adjust the frames, seeing as how the trinity mount you're pretty much locked into one position?

There was a 5x90 Trinity downhill frame… I think it was made by some guys in Spain I think. I’ll try and find it and post it here.

How would you rate these boots against the Roces Lab boots? They're both carbon boots. It would be an interesting comparison.

I want to try HC EVO with Flat Frame for pure Freeskate jumps slides etc is viable without Shock Absorber and also the boot is lower than normal Freeskate boot that´s make me afraid of jumps.

Hey Ricardo, are the evo's good for the foot? I have some PS next skates and my liner (spc liner) seems to be pinching in the boot and causing some nerve issues in my ankles. I'm trying my hardest to be center edge in my stride but once I'm tired I start to probate bad, and then the reoccurring ankle issues come back. Took a 3 week hiatus at the beginning of summer to help it heal, and my fist session back out it came right back. This just started happening about 2 months after I got the skates and I'm not sure what the cause is.

Hi may I ask you a Question? I have a problem with next 110 trinity mount I can't stop the wheels from rattling. The skates are new bought yesterday. Up to now I have tried everything. I have a feeling the frame is out of true. Have you experienced this problem? Sorry to trouble you but we live in Thailand, and Thailand is Thailand once bought very little help Best wishes

I can't figure out what the noise coming from my left boot is. I took apart the wheels and took out the bearings to see if if was any of that. I tightened the screws and checked everything but I still can't figure it out. Now I'm scared of wearing them...

Hi Ricardo I bought the Powerslide Next 125mm after watching your video years ago . I have a large wide foot I bought there biggest size 48-49 they felt great but after a while the plastic chrome buckle broke and I sold them on ebay now I do not have rollerblades and want to order some can you recommend any skate for a large foot size 14-15 please thank you keep up the great videos . My brothers friends wife just shattered her wrist when she fell on her rollerblades just recently be careful " )

Poor powerslide, everyone disliking their updated boot. I had my eye on these but I tend to slip and fall when stopping and that would really dmg the boot, now with this design update im not interested in 2021 version.

Have a look at the gap between the heel of the boot and the last wheel. Trinity is obviously not lower to the wheels/ground than other mounting standards. Ricardo please do the exact measurement.
