Jimmy Cason Here's what I've learned a great bit of advice. Never assume someone's financial status. One can only sell something for so much money, but one can buy something for practically anything! One's money is made on how much one BUYS something for, and NOT what one sells it for! Again, never try to predict a person's financial situation - you can never know when a person just needs money and needs it NOW! The more desperate a person is for money the more likely that time will be the determining factor for price and not the actual value of said product. Understand not only the purchasing power of your money, but the potential purchasing power of your money! In today's economy, there is absolutely no shortage of motivated sellers, find them! Treat every deal as if the person needs your money right then and don't assume that they have the luxury of sitting on their possession - remember, if someone accepts your offer, then you offered too much, period. Likewise, the ONLY way that you'll ever know if you didn't overpay for something is if your offer is rejected. This is how you play the deal and afford something that you ordinarily couldn't afford - such as a paramotor and canopy!

Sweet, im a 2111 but all I hung out with was 0311s.... much fun it was. I think getting training first would be a good idea because youll be able to ask the instructors and other students about gear plus you will be able to try some different gear before you buy.

I would say when I got my second wing which made a big difference in taking off. So about 6-8 months after my first take off when I felt really confident in taking off and landing with no hick ups. Nope this is my first aircraft.

There are a couple places in Florida that will teach you. A couple names to google or look up are , 1. Eric Dufour with paratour, 2. Eric Cote with paradise PPG, and 3. Aviator PPG - all good training sources.

but heck i just used google, youtube, and friends to train... :P

I think the concept went over your head. The sky (airspace) cannot be claimed as private property.

In this video I have a top 80 and I got it off craigslist. My current set up is a Kangook frame with a Polin Thor 130 engine and I got that from a friend I fly with.

The freedom to be able to take off from any field (that you have permission to use) and fly anywhere (not in restricted airspace which is most of the country) is pretty damn cool. The fact that your parachute is already deployed so if your motor dies you just glide on down is awesome. You can't stall one of these and you really can't loop or roll it. You just kinda chill out. What a way to spend an afternoon.

If I had the money and lived in a nice enough area, hell yeah.

Part 103 doesn't say anything about "residential" areas. Says you can't fly over "congested" areas. I believe this means that there must be open spaces to emergency land in, which was clearly not a problem at any point where he was flying.

why not? ID is just for that purpose to make it easy for others to see who you are and it makes it easier for ALL participants to get things cleared fast.

Freezed Eve your probably not from US than, it's called freedom. If you're driving and get pulled over, that's different.

and how is police asking your ID limiting your freedom? Thing is that there was abnormally parked car near shopping mall, police was doing his job to make sure there is nothing serious going on , by showing ID and telling why he was there police could make thing clear and be sure there was nothing dangerous going on.

Freezed Eve to a cop everything is abnormal, that's their biggest excuse. They don't protect anymore, all they do is collect revenue and flex their badge and tell you they have the authority, witch they don't. You need to know the laws. Useless you're more than a 100 miles from the border, they can't ask for id, but they do it anyway because people don't know the law and cops brake more laws in a day than any other citizen would do in a year. Last year in Indiana there was a new law that was passed, any law enforcement agent that brakes in to your house without a warrant, is liable to get shot without any penalty to the home owner. Don't get brainwashed, know the laws and be free. To any cop reading this, do your job, you took the oath, protect the constitution of your free country and weed out the bad cops.

i wonder who is brain washed here. ID is something officials gave you and i do not see any problem if they want to see it. maybe it is just that in america you can be police without enough training which makes people like you appear, but at least here in Finland i do not see police as enemy, i see them as public service which treats people as customers. If police want to see my ID i want to show it to them because i do not have any reason refuse and i am not feeling that my freedom is somehow limited. maybe you should move to some civilized country if you feel that your police is bad thing.
