Hello Totos. You helped very much in my rod/reel & SFC lure selections. You recommended a 4 strand PE line to me some time back. I cannot remember the name. You mentioned it makes a bit more noise on the rod eyes but is what you & the inventor of slow pitch both use. I ask the brand name please (going on a 2017 ocea jigger nrhg (PE3) paired with an evergreen poseidon 603-4. Thank you very much.
Hi toto !!! I wanted to ask why when I collect a thread in my reel the thread does not return in a straight way Sometimes there is an area in the reel where more wire is gathered and an area with a little thread I wanted to know is it normal or something is wrong
If I may, I jig a lot & experience same. I do NOT use level wind reels as they do not allow you to thumb the spool as you work your baits or your fish. You will as a result get areas within the spool where the line will stack up more. As you reel keep an eye on line distribution & simply nudge the line over to where the spool is low with the side of your thumb. Im sure there is some explanation in physics as to why it happens but with a little coaxing with the thumb of your rod hand it shouldnt be any problem.
