Earth cannot sustain ever increasing growth, production and consumption . We must have smaller as self sustaining as possible economies . And they must be egalitarian in distribution, and in every way. We must produce things that last , no more throw away economy . Rather than the casino the market really is it must be replaced by a resource based, sharing economy . When a good or service is low in supply Do not raise its price. share, others call this rationing but it is sharing which commands the moral and ethical high ground

Easier said than done.. what you suggest is complete overhaul of current system.. very hard maybe even impossible

@@lakshyaagrawal4722 I guess we should just keep consuming and polluting until we're all dead from it. Thanks for setting us straight. 🤦🏼‍♂️

@@fun_ghoul No maybe we should transition towards energy which is non polluting and renewable. Like nuclear fusion. Adapt technology to modern challenges is better than to just discard everything.

@@lakshyaagrawal4722 Nobody said "discard everything" except you. Even so, looking for technological cheat codes will not solve the problem. We need a society that doesn't punish thrift, and incentivize greed and waste. Full stop.

@@fun_ghoul Yes but is it practical? Do you think we can establish such society? If not then what best we can do.

PB1 PB perhaps that’s why Joseph Stiglitz handpicked him in the UN global financial system reform committee. Fair enough.
