Practical Caravan | Peugeot 3008 | Review 2012 

Why use a 1.6 HDi 112 version in the 3008 when there is a 2 litre HDI available which is going to make the better towing car!

He said it was an economical car but in my case it’s a 1.6 VTI petrol 5 speed 2013 Peugeot 3008 access with 115 bhp and 199 lbs/ft and it’s painfully slow and we have to really get the revs high in the 4000-5000 rpm range to get it up to 60 mph and u can’t really overtake for very long as the revs at 75 mph as we normally drive at goes up to 4800-5000 rpm and it’s not a really an enjoyable car to drive as it’s not very fast as I said and the petrols don’t really rev as free as the diesels do so if I was to get another which is very very doubtful I would get the facelift 2014-2016 model and get the allure 2.0 diesel automatic with 165 bhp and get one with satnav,Bluetooth,pano sun roof,leather and grip control

Generally appears a good small tow car, but the access to the 13 pin plug could get annoying.
