Tony Charmz - That only applies if you are Jewish. Deuteronomy is part of the Jewish scriptures. Christians are supposed to be following the New Testament. You know, the teachings of Jesus? The only Christians who run to the Old Testament are the ones who can't handle the challenge of Jesus' teachings. (Seriously? He gave His followers ONE commandment.) So much more comfort in someone else's Scriptures. Interesting that so many Christian males are not circumcised - why not? In Genesis 17:10-14, God commands it. So, when it comes to body mutilation, no thanks. But let's kill other people? No problem. So much for following Jesus' ONE commandment. Be Jewish or be Christian. But dadgummit, pick one and stick with it. Religious cherry-picking is pure hypocrisy. Jesus was extremely clear on His feelings about that.
