Very difficult to see black props against black background. Also black props are ugly in practice.

Black vs White props/coro is highly dependent on your want/need. Many of the really popular shows will only use black as they have little to no light pollution (street lights, etc) and want the pixels to truly stand out. Many people who want props like snowflakes want the white to look like snowflakes. It is a personal preference. The best part is all of our props can be cut in white or black! Check out the Xmodels on our website and/or Xlights - try them out!

@@CharleesProps What do you recommend for painting, black or white? What process do you use to prepare them for painting exactly?

@@skrame01 We lightly scuff them before and use a fusion spray paint. We painted a couple peppermint spinners for a customer that asked for them to be painted by us. We used painters tape to tape off the part we didnt want spray painted. Worked out pretty well!
