This presentation will suggest ways to focus a family physician's assessment on the "real giants" of geriatrics such as 1) frailty and nutritional status, 2) gait, balance, and falls, 3) common musculoskeletal problems of the elderly, 4) a focused neurologic exam, 5) cognitive assessment, and 6) the med review.
