The general idea I've heard that goes with all the pearls here is "When you're old, things just don't work the way they do anymore." It ain't just the skin and bones...it's everything.
Growing old in America is not fun!!! Things start going wrong and you may need numerous procedures, surgeries and medications. For some older folks the loss of independence and ability to do things is limited. I hate Growing old.
I think a large part of our aging problems is poor diet. Whole food plant based is the way to go. We should be aging gracefully without all this chronic illness. The answer is at the tip of the fork. Doctors skip the importance of nutrition in prevention.
Am I the only one who is having trouble with the low volume/ sound of these lectures? I have tried everything including fiddling with my phone settings!! And no ....I am not hearing impaired !!!
