This is why living in Cornwall is shit: almost every ground is a small scale affair that does a Saturday competition only. There are not even any registered shoots that take place in the whole of the county. The closest ground you can go to meaningfully train is well over an hour from the border with Devon at Dawlish. My standard of competitive shooting has pretty much crashed since I moved here due to an inability to train. It’s a wonderful county but from a clay shooting perspective I really miss living in Hertfordshire where I had loads of top grounds without an hour and a half of home!
