It's like the "hidden side" of the musician life and the secret for the mastery: Practice. Thank to your video i've finally got into the violin practice. Said goodbye to the "prodigious" theme and started to play. 4 months from that choice and started to add the new figures and progressions in my own compositions. I downloaded this video to continuing practicing this sonata, the piece that impressed to me so much since i was 16 (due the devil's myth, so edgy) but never got the courage to face that voice which tells you "you're too old for that, you might started in childhood". Finally i'm finishing the second movement, ready and excited for the 3rd one. Simply one of the best sonatas i've ever heard. Also watching how you correct the different parts, repeat some of them and looking your fingering choices with the music sheet in my other hand really gives a more complete idea of how to play this. Sincerely thanks for this kind of videos.
i am 17 and by now i play violin for like a year, and my dream as a violinist is to play this sonata perfectly. As you this is one if not the best sonatas i've ever heard. I always practice some bars of this piece everytime i practice.
Thank you very much for your kind compliment 🙂🙂 I'm glad that it helped Write me to violinpraxis@gmail.com if you need more help or have more questions ☺️
It really depends on what kind of person you are, how old, how much time you have, what is your goal etc. There's absolutely no one fit for all recommendation. My recommendation is choose a short/easy piece that you love to play and learn it bar by bar.(not line by line) And do not start your beautiful practice time with depressing scales because "you have to".(do it in between). And if you can play Kreutzer etude beautifully, you can basically play almost everything beautifully. I do offer online lesson, if you're interested you can write to violinpraxis@gmail.com Thank you
