Kunlé Adeyemi talks about growing up in Nigeria and how it influenced the architect he is today. He argues that the reason for returning to practice in Nigeria is the opportunity for architecture in the wide gap he sees between current design practice in the Netherlands and the emerging practicing in countries like Nigeria. He highlights the resilience required to get practice in Nigeria and sees it as part of the challenge to keep pushing until an individual is successful.
