This was my most used bag of summer. Going to Disneyland and other outdoor activities with my toddler I need a light weight and casual bag and this bag is perfect. Also there are endless ways to wear this bag so even though I see this bag out a lot I never see it worn the way I’m wearing it. Best bag ever 🌨🪄🥂
I love how you keep it real! Like talking about how you used it at Universal Studios and your thought process. Cost per wear is definitely a consideration for a purchase. I’m more a tote bag person, but would use this as crossbody more than a shoulder bag. I love Prada and with the multi use options and all the price increases by Chanel and LV, I think bag is a good value for the money

I got one recently in black saffiano leather (I’m a fan of the gold hardware on it) and I’m obsessed! Holds so much more than one would expect for such a small bag.

So glad you did this cause I think you do the best reviews that answers all questions. Convince all others they need this bag too 🤭 it was my best impulsive purchase of last year and is what convinced me of these "multi pouch" bags. But I think Prada did it the best esp with nylon. It's so durable, flexible, comfortable, and in black it matches with everything!
I recently got into Prada myself! I love the re edition 2005! I got one in red and now looking for a 2000 version. You have me sooo tempted with your cameo color
I got this bag in navy and love it. So glad I bought it in 2020, before most of the price increases! The nylon makes it a bit sportier, so I wear it with my sneakers and Converse. The chain makes it so you can dress it up a bit, though. 👌🏾
Totally know what you mean about the whole "Chanel at Universal Studios"-thing! I've been on the hunt for an all-purpose small bag I can bring on vacation with a bunch of random different events and not have to pack 1,000 purses for each one. This fits 100% - plus, you've shown what to do with the little pouch (which I initially removed because I thought it'd be useless. AirPods, duh!) Thanks for the great review! 🤩
I have this combo as well 🤣 and I actually love it. I love that if you detach all the chain, pouch, strap, and use a plain black strap, I can use it when I want to be lowkey. Also, love that I can fill it up and it’s kind of like a black hole - ive def squeezed in a whole scarf, small camera + all my essentials at one point
I have the exact same bag too - and its funny how we both attach the clochette, chain strap, and shoulder strap in the exact same way. I think for me one of the biggest cons is how the opening of the bag is quite small (especially if you have it stuffed to the brim) and the zipper has actually cut my pinky finger and has taken chunks off my iPhone case... I must agree with the others, one of the, if not the best reviews on this bag on RU-vid!

After I watched your VDO I decide to purchase Prada reedition 2005 and use it non stop since Jan…really love it. Recommend to change to the Pearl chain it’s really cute 🥰
I have one LYXBAG bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

Thanks for this Maggy, thought of getting the saffiano rather than the nappa, very in depth review, what would we do without you. I have several Prada nylon, it’s the best! The nylon actually gets sturdier, thicker and stronger over time.

I also have this bag and love it to death. I see it went up again in pricing since I bought late last year. I wish I would have also snagged the cameo beige in either the nylon or the leather but missed out. It's probably my most used bag.
I know! I think in this past year it went up $100 🥲 and my Prada SA said they could come back out with cameo beige later, it’s just the shades of beige are seasonal!

I bought this bag in the summer and it’s so versatile! I wear it without the silver chain when I wear it crossbody, though . My only regret is that I know it’s considered a trendy bag. I’ll be sad if it didn’t stand the test of time because I really like it. I’ll just have to be out of style eventually because I don’t want to let it go.
I really like this bag too and I bought it knowing it is not gonna be trendy forever. But who cares as long as you love it. I love this bag and this will be my all times favorite. And I also wear it without the chain because i don’t like the noise when it rub the bag and I feel like they rubbing will ruined the bag if happens all the times.
I took my Prada back pack to Universal and Disney … ended up buying a Disney loungefly backpack and it was the best ! Funny how the cheaper item worked better

Love this! You actually got me to consider buying this one next. I’m looking for a nice crossbody bag. Would you recommend this one or the Alma BB in DE? I’m now torn seeing as they can both be worn in two different ways and be dressed up and down. Let me know what you think 😊
See the Alma BB has such a special place in my heart so I love that bag. But for more everyday activities and even travel I would actually recommend you getting the Prada re edition just because you don’t have to worry about the vachetta and the length of the alma strap is a little long for shorter people like me haha
I have both bags and I love both sooo much but if I had to pick 1 I’ll pick the alma bb DE! It ticks every box for me - it’s durable, classic, timeless, carefree, versatile, can hold lots and price point is good too. The prada re edition is super good too but it’s definitely more of a casual bag. I wouldn’t wear it with a super formal outfit but the alma I definitely can. The alma has more of a luxury feel to it as well and can do better on the second hand luxury market (if you’re thinking of selling in the future).
hey one question, which bag is better in terms of resale value and wear n tear? chanel 19 small or boy bag small? i like small bags and kind of leaning towards boy but everybody likes chanel 19 these days. which one would you prefer?
Umm I’m not that in the know on the buy/sell market. However, the chanel 19 right now especially is super hot. So the small chanel 19 is definitely the way to go if you’re looking at long term resell value. Also Prada in general doesn’t have as high a resell value as a brand overall.

Hi Teresa! Yes still enjoying this bag soo much. I use it multiple times a week! I haven't had any issues with the piping personally but that would be so bad if they're raising prices and decreasing on quality control smh. After owning this bag I definitely love it even more than I did because it's soo easy to use!

I think it really depends on the shade/tone of gold and also what the gold is paired with that can really alter the look. Sometimes when it’s too yellow I agree it can look older 😗
