A fascinating guy. Interesting and informative on many accounts. I met him at lunch when he spoke in San Francisco at a banking conference my wife was part of. He was the speaker and my wife Donna at that time worked for the bank. We had lunch and enjoyed meeting him there.

Changing 48 to 43 and getting 10 yrs older, in every single interview, is really impressing!

Frank is entertaining , charming , and charismatic - he is still a excellent con man. If you check his history closely and examine his supposed story you will find he is still an excellent con man. Much of the story of his life is not true or verifiable. Some truth mixed with lots of fiction and fantasy

The greatest irony is that he is "Frank" and his opinions on Life is true and open as his life's story!

Here he says he was "just surviving". In an interview for an Australian channel (60 minutes) he told that he cashed 2.5 millions, from which he paid 2 millions back (pretty soon), because he did not spent the money. So you tell me you are hunted by the FBI, cashing thousands of checks, where most of the money you do not use, but just collect!? One would be very dumb to do that. Also 2.5 millions in those years was about 10 times the money worth than it is now. Come on. How plausible is that "story"? He states "I provide no services", but on his homepage says that majority of the work is for the government. On the Bio page he states the majority of work is for large clients. So, does he provide no service? Or most of his not provided service for the government or for large companies!? I do not get it… ;-)

Well, is it that Abagnale was so smart or that people in the 60s were so deferential to guys with greying hair, uniforms or college diplomas? He'd have a hard time downing stewardesses these days - and that's assuming he'd be carried for free in the age of low-cost flights and no deadweight. His biggest trump card was his smooth affable delivery. But most people these days would be suspicious of someone putting so much effort into being nice . . . Wonder what his brothers thought of him ? Must've been hard on them being asked "are you anything to that Abagnale the paperhanger?" all the time.

Leonardo DiCaprio did look young for the movie, and is still a child now. But I did not notice much if at all, any progressive propaganda, so I bought the movie for home. I like movies made before 1950, and usually later movies that are based on true stories, that could only happen in "the land of opportunity". :) I love movies that show a inspiring individual who did great things in a free society. With out that, what do we look up to,---and how is that future?

Paula Parks was a new Delta stewardess, with whom FA had a huge attraction to. He was able to smooth-talk her parents into inviting him to live with them. Mark Zinder was a publicist and booking agent for FA early in FA career. Parks and Zinder contributed a LOT to the book, that shows most of the FA story is a hoax. Released in December 2020, The book 'The Greatest Hoax on Earth: Catching Truth, While We Can" by Alan C. Logan (Author), Paula Parks (Foreword), Mark Zinder (Foreword The book very thoroughly investigated the life of FA, and clearly shows what parts of the FA book are fiction, and which could be verified. With hundreds of receipts and convincing data, Logan clearly shows that FA has perpetuated a great hoax, and most of his story are absolutely lies upon more lies.

Smart man, well spoken, but still the imaginative story teller. His biggest con is his life story. There are so many improbability’s, holes and exaggerations in this guy’s story the alarm in my BS detector is sounding off. He said his father would come in his room and whisper “I love you Son” every night when he was growing up. That he was an athletic ex marine, yet his dad let him run out of divorce court to the big city, never to be seen again. He was an airplane pilot, passed the bar and became a lawyer, supervise interns and dozens of nurses, cashed 2.5 million in checks in the 80,s, ran a complicated gigantic 4 color press in his s pair time to make checks, worked for the FBI because he informed them it’s easy to tell a phony check by the perforation on one side and shiny ink …. Like they wouldn’t know. Mr. Catch me if you can caught in his fantasy world.

Total bs story. He didn’t do hardly any of the things in the movie.

Sadly his biggest con continues to this day, telling lies about his life. He never did 95% of the stuff he says he did.

A criminal awarded by the FBI and the government. Movies many times also glorify criminals and movie goers ignore such criminals, like mafia movies and the real life criminals. He should have served all his time in prison and not awarded such privilege. I praise no such criminals. He is still a criminal until he serves his time. The many comments speaking well about him are why the world is a very, very stupid place.

I heard him say nothing he did as a teenager was premeditated, but everything he does in his life is heavily premeditated. Pretty sad though.....after multiple thousands of hours rehearsing the story of his life, you think he wouldn't say "uhh" every 5 seconds. I would have caught you fast if I was Tom Hanks. =)
