The most amazing tip I learned from a chef was to dump your brown sugar in a bowl. Then press your measuring spoon down twice to make two holes the perfect size to measure tablespoon. Then you fill both holes in the sugar with corn syrup with no mess.
Here is a recipe microwave praline candy. 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 cup granulated sugar 5 onz evaporated milk half of stick of butter 1 teaspoon of vainilla extract and 1 cup of pecans. Put all ingredients in a sasafe microwavebable bowl 5 minutes. Then pull it out stirr ans put ut back 5 more minutes stirr until the mix get heavy to stir then place them in a parchment paper ....let them cool on the table for 35 minutes and enjoy.
