"I was sitting on my mobile and phoning myself. I was sexually harrasing myself in the early hours of the morning!" My stomach hurts from laughing so much!!
I think I get the breathing sound - it was the sound of him breathing into his mouthpiece, and hearing it in his earpiece. It can be a lot louder than you think.
if anyone is watching, could you please post the clip from this same show of MM doing the "public toilets" sketch...the one with the automatic lights, water and handryer? That had me in stiches!! ha ha!!
True story . . . years ago I met a guy at lunch time, on my break. We had a good conversation and exchanged numbers. The next day, in the evening, I called. The person who answered said "It's 10 . . . a bit late for calling, don't you think?" . . . never talked to him again. LOL
@FallenAngelDream @LittleMissNight7 - I just like how polite you have both turned when you realised that it is difficult to see exactly what people mean when you can't actually hear them!
haha I do the nine o'clock thing but at 10pm instead, ring me at 9:59 and I'm happy, ring me at 10:00 and I'm narky, McIntyre does such realistic comedy, that's why he's so good ^_^
Bloody hell .. thats creepy.. i notice some people said it was actually 9:12 when they watched this.. and same here.. well 21.13 but woahh!! goosebumps :P
i had a prankcall once, i said 'hello' no answer then i heard 2 little kids laughing and knew it was a prank call now normally i would hang up but i left it on. After 5 minutes i picked up the phone and just said 'you do realise your paying for this right?' They immediately hung up.
I prank called my friend, I use Russell Howard's line: "Excuse me, do you know where the library be?" and he was like "I'm really freaking out, who are you?". I felt bad so I told him that it was me and apologised. My friend said I just broke the rule of prank calls. NEVER APOLOGISE!
Tell my neighbour she shouldn't call people after nine pm. She calls people in the middle of the night, giving them a scare. Nutcase. She just goes 'hi, it's me, hahaha'.
@LittleMissNight7 Actually, I never saidLee hadn't had jokes stolen from him. Never even mentioned jokes being stolen from him, so I don't know why you're sounding so defensive and "actually", as though I got it wrong. All I did say was that Lee has stolen jokes too, because the other person was suggesting that Michael stole jokes and Lee didn't. All comedians have probably "stolen" a joke or an idea off other comedians at some point, and had material stolen off them in return.
@sanderstom14 After I read your comment I looked down at the time on my computer and it was 21:11....not exactly spot on but still freaked me out a little
I wonder if Michael and others think that the no calls after nine at night only applies to landline phones and not mobiles.I mean, do they say things like? 'It's a bit late to ring the house now, try their mobile instead'. On a side note, for one particular birthday I bought my mum her first ever smartphone and she was around at her friends for a meal. So when I called her on it to wish her a happy birthday, so asked: "How did you know I was here"? 🤔
comedians seem to have alot of things that happen to them when in reality none of this actually happened to them, they just tell the story for comic effect
@LittleMissNight7 No, it's okay, it's just difficult to tell what people mean when all you can see is words on a screen xD I understand you, sorry if I sounded snappy. I agree too, it's the same with every comedian and that's what I was trying to say too xD
@Greasechain Funny cos, on his latest dvd Lee Evans blatantly stole one of Michael Mcintyre's jokes from a couple of years ago. He just put it in a different situation, but every single thing he did, the layout everything was the same as Michael's. It was a joke with a hoover, and Lee did exactly the same joke but with a car vacuum. Exactly the same.
@misterTJP I try to be understanding and civilised, unlike other people who can be rather vile on RU-vid. And I'm always grateful when I come across other users who have the same philosophy :)
@coolcatellie He was SITTING on his phone hearing himself breathing. The receiver would have been under him. Try it for yourself and tell us how it works out. ;-)
@Trollreborn get used to it loads of people do it and some times it just rimminds you of one of the funny parts that u can't remmeber cos ur laughing so much at another part
