Prawning season already?? 

How’s the spread on that cast! The pancake man is back in action!? Who doesn’t love a feed of prawns?!?

Lots of different stuff going on this year, mango trees in full flower 2 months ago. Could be a big wet coming. Great vid as usual Legend. Gotta love fresh prawns 👌👌👌

I love catching a good amount of prawns but I’m allergic so can’t eat them even when I touch them my hands swell up and start to burn but all worth it when I come home with an esky full for my mum 🤙🏼

Sammy can you please do a specific video on how to set up and throw a cast net. I know most of these vids are on catching the prawns, but for us beginner newbies how to setup and throw is really important.😁 Maybe I'm just dumb and don't get it, but thats ok too.🙄

Mix chicken feed with raw molasses... make tennis ball sizes n just droptjem in spots... leave it for a few mins n then throw your net, shrimps go crazy for that

Can you please let me know what kind of cast net that you are using?

Try frangipani sap for marine stings, works good but you won't find it down the creek so you should take a piece of it with you prawning.

The banana prawns we get in the Burnett are about an average size of 200mm makes yours look small haha but they are a lot more spread out

I was out rock fishing one day and had the unfortunate luck to stab my thumb on a happy moment ( spinefoots or rabbitfishes) , boy they named them either right ( as you're looking for a happier time) or wrong as in the life won't be happy for a while . As i was standing there cursing the fishing gods for making such a evil fish an old fisherman came up to me and inquired what was wrong , i told him and he told me to catch another one. Too which i replied wtf for the last one got me in this mess ,he told me to get another so i did and he then told me to get it's eyeball whole out of it's head , poke a hole in it and squeeze the clear liquid into the wound from the happy moment , would you believe it was like a switch was thrown the throbbing stop almost immediately, it was a god send , so i try to pass on this knowledge to any fisherpeople i meet while fishing.
